“ this can’t happen again. ” (modern dany?)
MORNING AFTER STARTERS.

Daenerys sat up in bed quietly, pulling the sheet over her naked form. It was still early, for a quick glance towards the windows gave hint to a sky still straining to showcase some sun. It was not yet sunrise which meant plenty of time to get to class and in his case, get to work. Assuming that's where he was going. She hadn't been in Domino long. Her stay was merely school related for the next eight weeks. After that, she would be heading back to the states to resume her studies there under the watchful eyes of her brother. Speaking of Viserys...
Dany reached over and grabbed her phone off of the nightstand. She had four missed calls from him as well as a text message demanding to know her whereabouts. Mentally groaning, Dany found herself slipping out of bed too. As much as she longed to rest some more, this wasn't her place and it wouldn't be long before he was kicking her out, his opening statement being sign enough.
❝This can't happen again.❞
It stung, to hear such a statement without the slightest hint of compassion or feeling, but this was a one night stand. As Margaery once pointed out to her, she shouldn't expect much from them if she dared to give it a go. And dared she did for an array of reasons that began with being alone in foreign country to missing her ex. Still, regardless of his words, Dany shred what was left of her dignity by slipping by him to find the sundress she wore last night. She would wash up at her apartment. All that mattered was taking this famous 'walk of shame' quickly so she could put last night behind her.
❝Right.❞
Turning her back to him, she dropped the sheet long enough to slide the dress over her form. Her flats were nearby so tiny feet quickly slid within them. The last thing she would do is sweep the room for her purse and keys. She knew she probably looked a hot mess but nothing that couldn't be fixed once she got back to her place. ❝Thanks for the coffee and stuff last night. I'll just go.❞
Because what else to say? It seemed rather awkward to stand there and ramble on about things he may or may not care about. She'd have to call Margaery up later and ask questions about these things, but for now, she fumbled with the door intent to make her exit home.
