Arthur continually refering to Daniel as his father-in-law when people call Daniel his father, despite knowing damn well that having a father-in-law implies having a wife and his general unwillingness to bring up any of those aspects of his life with people, just shows how much he does not want to imply that he is *actually* related to that man
