Now that I think about it I'm pretty sure we were never even promised ice cream if we won that science class pop quiz game. I think Ms. Hooker was just impressed with my ability to answer while barely checking my textbook (it was an open-book game) AND with no teammates to rely on and so just ran to the Dairy Queen a block away during lunch
