My favorite thing about Navigator Alchemystars is that he is such a wet paper bag boy. A stiff breeze could kill him. He gets kidnapped by a ten-year-old and the best thing he can do is threaten to call for help. He tries to punch an Eclipsite and breaks his arm. No wonder everyone’s protective of him.

luke asked navi to go to umbraton for his guild and now all i can think about is imagine how many people just be chilling on soroz when someone is just like “hey navi, let’s go to this place” and now they’re forced to hang out somewhere they probably don’t wanna be (esp the ones avoiding their responsibilities) as soroz is parked and navi is no where to be found

or even funnier, when navi is out with someone, someone that knows him, spots soroz and decides to board, so when he comes back, he’s like “when the fuck did you get here?????” lol

never fails to fuck me up how navi had spent the first 17 years of his life underground in what seemed like an inescapable prison but even moreso the fact that soroz believed without a doubt that navi would one day be able to leave and that in itself is why navi never despaired. in amemoris file story navi just casually drops this fact like its nothing and amemori is absolutely horrified at this

navi does not see his situation as horrifying or traumatic because soroz raised him to be optimistic despite the odds and it's even more so because this isnt even the first time soroz has been underground like this. for literally hundreds of thousands of years soroz was underground with the remaining colossus doing nothing but wait and developing their own personalities and even though they were a machine it was the hope of number 35 that they could become more. soroz as they raised navi taught them basic survival skills, conversation, everything navi would need because soroz believed this to be their last stop and wanted navi to be able to survive on his own.

What's 17 more years to save a child the way soroz themselves were saved by a child?
