i've thought it over and i think the funniest part of "the terror" (book) is in franklin's pov when gore's group is heading out and goodsir wants to join and franklin's thinking to himself like "he's skinny and has ridiculous sideburns and has an effeminate air about him. kinda faggy. i don't like him. hope he dies out there"
