Donatello x insecure geek Headcannons

(If you guys want more of these in the future let me know! My girlfriend helped me out with these)

-For how they meet, it would be he finds her sitting on a bench half asleep. She isn't homeless or anything she is actually just waiting for the store right next to it to open to get a new game

-Sweaters or hoodies. She will flat out refuse to show off anything above her torso besides her own head and lower arms. He won't mind though because big hoodies will look so adorable on her :3

-Another is that he would be patient with her. She would be kinda scared to express her ideas and thoughts to others so he gives her as much time as she wants to speak out. In turn she does the same, knowing that he loves to explain his ideas whether she understands or not, she lets him ramble for as much as he wants.

-Out of all the brothers Mikey loves her the most. She gets his refenaces to comics, games, and music while also willing to watch him play video games. It would be hard the most for her to get along with the older brothers just because how intense they are.

-If something big happens in a comic or game, whether good or bad like a romance scene or a death, she will either text him or go to his lab if she is there to fangirl for the next ten minutes.

-Horror games? It's a must for him to be there with her so she won't be as scared.

-It actually makes him really happy when she offers to come in the dojo and watch him train with his brothers, it gives him a chance to show off, plus she seems interested in his bo staff.

-She isn't bullied but on an almost weekly basis she would text him filled with anxiety on how the day went. Depending on what happened that day it usually only takes ten minutes to calm her down any longer and he calls her.

-Not everything is rainbows there are a few times when the two annoy each other or grumpy with one another, but not every couple is exactly perfect, the very few times they argue/fight it only lasts a short time rarely a full day after all Donnie is a level-headed turtle doesn't take long for him to think with reason.

-If she comes across old game systems that are either being given away or sold for a good price she takes them and gives them to her brainy partner for future parts or maybe to Mikey to see if he can get them working.

-Both of them are coffee addicts, late night projects and boss raids can do that to you, so if you try to talk to them before their coffee may the gods have mercy on you.

-If she is over for nights that the boys need to go out for patrol she takes the time to clean up around the lair a bit, giving a bit more care to the lab, either way she cleans though to help out Splinter.

-If she is long haired then if she feels Donnie is over-stressed or needs a relaxing stimulation she would pull him over to the side to sit down and just mess with her hair, because she tends to do the same thing when she gets like that, it's good for when he wants to ease out.

-Crying? Whether it's him or her both the two take the time to be the cuddle bear when emotions run high.

-Donnie gets a tad jealous when she would develop a 'crush' on fictional characters but when she notices it's time for a break to give her adorable nerd some cuddles.

-One time during mediation training the Hamato clan opened their eyes to the sound of a thud only to see she fell asleep from pulling an all nighter. She wouldn't leave the lab for hours after waking up.

-Fall asleep in the lab together? The brothers have no problem taking the two of you and placing you either in his room or the couch causing a very funny reaction playing out in the morning.

-SHE. WILL. CRY. If all four brothers come back hurt, and I'm not talking small cuts and bruises I mean bleeding and can barely walk, because of this Donnie makes sure the most injured turtle goes first so she will feel better knowing she can try to fix them.

-(2k18) finds her utterly cute but wishes she was just a bit more mentally strong when it comes to her emotions.

-(2k18)DIES at her game rage, because it's like a switch was flipped, plus it's one of the only times his brothers are scared of her.

-(2k18)Admires his eyebrow drawing skills for some reason.

-(2k18)Blushing mess with Mikey and Leo give her body paint as well, it's mostly because this would be one of those rare times she shows off her body, she loves seeing his eyes sparkle at the sight.

-(ALL)Hurt her? Make her cry? Just laugh at her doubts and anxiety? Prepare to get your credit card information or gaming profiles hacked my dude.

-(2k14)She loves to try on his glasses when he lets her take them off he can't help but kiss her.

-(2k14)if she fidgets he fidgets and vis versa.

-('03)Every sense the future war travel and turning into a monster he has developed PTSD and would have nightterrors. So his S/O would take it upon herself to stay the night with him and be his stuffed animal for protection.

Overwatch Mall AU

Torbjorn works at the Ikea across the street, but comes over to the mall far too often to spend his lunch breaks with Reinhardt.

Ana and Pharah work at the family coffeeshop in the mall, called Amari Expresso. Or rather, Ana works there, Pharah’s far too busy staring at that new doctor across the way.

Junkrat and Roadhog own a small mechanic’s garage and tire store on the outskirts of mall property.

Zenyatta owns a dojo, with Genji as his second in command. While Genji is in charge of teaching the advanced martial arts classes, Zenny takes over for the twice weekly senior tai chi class.

Mei has an ice cream shop by the food court, where she has a great view of the gym and can stare at fitness instructor Zarya all day.

Lucio has snagged a job at Sharper Image with Symmetra and loves talking technology and videogames with his friend D.Va, a professional gamer who works part time at the GameStop next door.

Mercy is the head pharmacist at the Walgreens/CVS that’s situated across the way from the coffeeshop

Reaper works at Hot Topic. Nothin else needs to be said.

Surprising exactly no one, Hanzo opens up a specialty weapons shop. He’s the resident expert on hunting bows, while his partner Jesse (McCree) is the one to talk to about guns.  

Amelie (Widowmaker) works at Jared’s Jewelers, primarily so she has a reason to tell people they’re making bad choices.

Sombra is the newest tech geek at the Best Buy outlet, and she’s become fast friends with the crew at Sharper Image.

Reinhardt is the head of mall security and along with Jack Morrison they keep the premises safe. When they come across the local kids skateboarding in the parking lot, Rein gently tells them they need to be someplace where they won’t get hurt. Morrison on the other hand tells them to fuck off before he calls the actual cops.

New Japan Pro-Wrestling Seeks to Expand into California

Anime fans who don't follow pro-westling may have recently been exposed to New Japan Pro-Wrestling from their prominent role in Tiger Mask W. Having previously staged American events as joint-promotion shows with Baltimore-based Ring of Honor, the Bushiroad owned puroresu organization now have a G1 Climax 27 tournament scheduled for July 1 and 2 in Long Beach, CA, as their first move towards larger US plans. 

  In an interview with Weekly Pro Wrestling, translated by Chris Charlton on Twitter, NJPW owner Taakaki Kidani revealed the promotion’s plans for the new territory:

“[A North American New Japan offshoot] would be a localized product. If in Japan it’s 75/25 Japanese, then 75/25 American would be the best mix I think. For the New Japan product we run now, there’s still video. The plan would be to have California as a base and run tours in a similar way to how we run things here, with a few shows further afield.

  “For the Japanese talent, there are all sorts of options. Some guys may want to tour there. Some guys may want to spend half the year there. Still others may want to take two years or so and move out there. There are a lot of ways around that and I’m open to opinion from the wrestlers.

  “If we establish a territory in California, we’ll be able to produce more content cheaply. It has to be localized. If you look at WWE with their show business base, they really only have a strong business in the U.K., Canada and America. They sell their programming elsewhere, sure, but they need to actually be doing business in those areas. I said this on Twitter, but why do you think they’re pushing people to the network? It’s because they know cable isn’t going to be around forever and they have to make up that loss. That’s why they established a U.K. champion and set up that tournament. [ … ]

  “Things start with the G-1 special, which we announced will take place on 7/1 and 7/2. That won’t include any actual tournament matches, but we may hold qualifiers. At that point, office staff will also be headed to the U.S. We will set up a dojo, likely with a monthly fee system. And as far as talent is concerned, from October of last year, we began signing wrestlers to long-term contracts, and this includes foreign wrestlers. [ … ]

“I have talked with the talent about this, but at that point it was less concrete than it is now. The plan is for thing to really get going in 2018.”
