I'm on a road trip, so you know what that means? That's right S.O. headcanons! Let's get into it hoes. You know the drill NSFW, Minors Do Not Interact

Angel:

- David's dad died in a car accident so Angel being a hyper little gremlin wants to give him peace of mind and sits in the backseat where they can move around as they please.

- David hardly has the radio on so they wear headphones and jam out while playing Minecraft or something else on the switch.

- When Angel and David both don't have to drive, Angel naps while holding David's hand so he feels some comfort on the road.

- David will not take his hands off the wheel and Angel doesn't want him to freak out. But on the days when his cuteness aggression gets the best of him, he will pull over, out the car in park, turn the car off and crawl into the backseat with Angel.

Baaabe

- Drives, Asher is a passenger princess.

- Listens to action music while driving gives them an edge as they use their turn signals properly.

- Drives during road trips, because they have the least amount of Driving anxiety.

- On the off chance they're both late to something and Asher does drive, he manages to convince Babe they can be late by about an hour more and pulls over.

Sweetheart

- Had break checked people for not wearing a seatbelt and will do it while people put theirs on.

- Has road rage in French compared to Milo's Brooklyn road rage.

- Has shared headphones with Darlin' during a road trip filled with old dance music they had to dance to as kids.

- Milo's favorite place to stop are seedy gas stations while he blasts his music so nobody can hear Sweetheart.

Darlin

-They're not allowed to drive ever.

- Makes fun of Sam's playlist, calls it Cowboy music {Kiss is on there}

- Has a whole ass concert in the backseat of cars during road trips, Sam is there hype man, so is Sweetheart.

- Sam understands the importance of keeping his hands on Ten and Two even before Darlin told him about Gabe. So they made a signal, Darlin pulls on Sam's belt when they're ready to pull over and "stretch their legs".

Freelancer {Deviant}

- Gavin and them get slushies and snacks before they head off for wherever they're going.

- Has a whole bag of books dedicated to the car so they won't be bored.

- Group road trips are like Halloween, Trading and switching snacks.

- Gavin's hand is either down their pants or their mouth is around his dick, their both punctual people.

Freelancer {Lasko}

- Lasko is their passenger princess, no questions asked.

- Prefers lollipops as car snacks, so just imagine Lasko and them both having Lollipops in their mouth picking Gavin and Deviant the lecture about smoking that would ensue.

- Is the first person knocked out on the group road trips

- Gas station bathrooms are Lasko's favorite pit stop, people hardly ever go in them and he gets to see what Freelancers pretty nails look like against his skin.

Can we talk about Lovley for a sec? Particularly melanated Lovely cause I can't stop thinking about them.

Ya'll ever think about how much Lovley misses the sun? They live in California but quite literally can not walk out into the sun.

Those of us who do have a lot of melanin can vastly range between a summer and winter tones as the year goes on. It's just a part of life, and a lot of people down here look forward to their summer tones.

Real quick, it's been thought already that Lovely may have hang ups over their eyes no longer being their original color. Something Vincent has admitted to liking on more than one occasion prior to their turning. (I genuinely don't remember who made the post covering this, but if you see this, lmk so you can be properly credited)

Lovley was turned during winter if I'm remembering correctly. Yeah, sure, there wasn't snow, but the sun wasn't beaming on earth the same. They can no longer take walks or drive with the windows down during the summer. No more beach day episodes. No hot girl summer if you will.

The melanin is no longer poppin.

Something that felt so natural just no longer happens. They don't feel like themselves when they look in the mirror. They can go to the boardwalk at night and see everyone's tan lines and glowing skin, and they haven't changed.

Lovley has been taking everything in stride as far as we know. Their life started changing a little over two years ago. And that's great. Maybe a lot of people like old classmates they'd run into wouldn't notice. But they would. Phycially aging is pretty much out of the question. But that yearly glow is gone. Something they look forward to that was their's is gone.

I do believe either Vincent or Darlin' would help. Even Freelancer if time lines match and they shared a class or two. Bringing them lotions that are gentle on the skin and help give it that pop that they miss so much.

I started rambling again. I was supposed to post something lighthearted today from the drafts, but I just so happened to be home when they popped back into my head. It feels personal, though. And where I dislike for characters to have to go through more than needed, it's a thought that keeps coming back.

thinking about how darlin hadn't shown Sam their wolf form until the inversion.

I think that if they could help it, they would've waited a lot longer and even then he'd only get glimpses of them in their form. Mainly because they see it as a feral form that should only come out when they're pissed or there's danger. They don't want Sam to see that side of them because Quinn convinced them it was uncivilized and unworthy of being apart of who they are.

Although in the moment they saw Sam, they didn't care, they were just so overjoyed to see him alive and well. They knew he could've very well died in the inversion, but he didn't. And that mattered more than whether or not Sam saw them in their most vulnerable form.

Love how ironic it is that what is darlin's most vulnerable form in their eyes is their strongest form in everyone else's.

I am a Darlin kinnie, because of multiple different reasons. So it is my job to give you some headcanons.

Darlin Headcanons {Personal}

- Sweetheart is their comfort person, besides the pack, Sweetheart has seen and been with them through every phase, one of the few people Darlin was allowed to contact when with Quin.

- Quin swooped in while Darlin was fighting with their parents or rather, the loud conversation they had outside of a club on the phone with their parents.

- Darlin likes people taller than them, they like feeling protected.

- They've been bigger than most people, taller and stronger than most, so when Quin, a tall lanky man right in the middle of Darlin's type was way stronger it kind of tipped the scales in his favour.

- Babe and Darlin have Therapy days, just screaming in the woods and setting fire to their exes shit or being something that reminded them of their ex.

- Babe recognized Darlin for what they were as Darlin recognized Babe for what they were. They both were survivors, with their own stories.

- Forced Sam to go as Jessy so they could go as Buzz for Halloween.
