The party’s a hit! Street gets a little “fatherly advice” from Rhett before they all go home.

Then it’s Street’s turn! He rolls romance for his aspiration, like his Dad. Hey, at least he’s had healthy polyamory modeled for him goriwng up, if he goes down that route. He’s into hard workers that stink, but doesn’t like athleticism. (Maybe because he doesn’t want the competition, lol?)
He also picked up the charismatic trait!

All right, on that slightly unresolved note, that’s where we’re leaving the Shoreharts! I honestly have no idea what to expect from them in the future - I guess we’ll see? Sandy’s always been kind of a hot mess but this really takes the cake, lol.

Sandy considered telling Rhett about the previous night, but decided against it. “Honesty is the best policy” sounds catchy, sure, but where had it got her in the past? She tried being honest with Hamilton all those years ago, and he kicked her out!
Besides, she wasn’t even entirely confident Rhett was 100% loyal to her. All those late night shifts, ex girlfriends, and he was a Hart, for God’s sake! Franky, Sandy would rather not know. Maybe Rhett felt the same way?

It’s a roof raiser, naturally! I decided to keep the pink & “asian inspired” look Mimi aged into, but gave her something a bit more casual to wear.

Rhett: New boyfriend, hmm?
Mimi: Maybe? I don’t really know, yet.
Rhett: Well, word of advice: make sure he treats you well! If you’re unhappy, at all, for any reason, don’t be afraid to kick him to the curb.
Mimi: Uh, thanks.
Rhett: Take your mother and her loser ex, for example.
Mimi: Dad!!!
Sandy: Don’t make fun of poor Hamilton, dear. He did raise Mimi for years.
Rhett: All right, I’ll give him that...

Then, as soon as Rhett left the house...

Tiffany takes a break from the garden to say hello to some of the neighbours. She’s a little awkward with them, though. Making friends has never come as easily to her and it does to her husband.

Sandy: Did you have a good time out today? Meet anyone interesting?
Mimi: Kinda, I guess. Me and Tommy might be working together on a school project in the fall.
Sandy: Oh, you and Tommy might?

Rhett definitely feels some kind of way about the Penny thing, but he couldn’t put it into words. She’s doing the whole “polyamory” thing with that Curious guy, the one raising his son. He supossed he could have moved to Strangetown too, joined their weird family, been a proper dad to Street. But then he’d have missed out on Sandy and Mimi.
It felt pretty annoying and unfair that Lazlo Curious got to have his cake and eat it, with his two girlfriends. But then again, Lazlo was raising a bunch of kids that weren’t even his! Rhett wasn’t sure he’d like that. Everything was a trade-off, huh...

Rhett’s taken to the whole marriage thing suprisingly well, for a romance sim. Turns out, as long as he’s getting lovin’ on a regular basis he doesn’t really care if it’s with one woman or several. It’s never boring with Sandy, and he intends to keep her as happy as he can for the rest of her days. That’ll show her shit-heel of an ex-husband.

It’s a pretty big wedding, lots of guests! Even in the dark, though, they can see how happy the couple are.

Rhett leaves the bustling trailer for work - the party actually ended hours ago but for whatever reasons the guests didn’t actually leave, haha. Guess it suits them fine...

Street: And whenever we try playing ball, it always goes rolling down the hill, and it takes forever to get it back! Plus everyone’s real wimpy, claiming I “throw too hard”...
Sandy: I wonder where he gets that from! So much aggression in those Hart genes.
Penny: Haha, right! Actually, it’s quite an interesting nature versus nurture case study, isn’t it?

Rhett: Want to sneak away for a quickie?
Sandy: *gasp* At our daughter’s birthday party?
Rhett: You bet.
