Well. Evo sure is an experience.

[TNT explosion, news breadcast music and the Evo News logo appears. Than they're replaced with Martyn, in a Steve skin, looking at the camera with the view of the Evo SMP spawn behind him]

Martyn: (in a bad American accent) Good evening Evolutioners and welcome to Evo News where we put together the truth one block at the time. I'm Inthelittlenews.

Jimmy: (very far away and also in a bad American accent) And I'm Timmy Times!

Martyn: Today- Wait. Timmy? Why (are) you so quiet?

Jimmy: [intelligible]

Martyn: Timmy? What are you doing all the way over there?! I guess we got a special news report from out in the field. Timmy Times what's going on?

[cut to Jimmy]

Jimmy: I'm standing here with a local citizen of the Minecraft Evolution Town who says he has spotted something mysterious happening in spawn. Over to you.

Grian: (in a horrible southern American accent) Yeah, I was just building my house and I turned around and I saw me a UFO.

Netty: Hi mum! Hi mum! (Twerks to the camera)

Jimmy: Where is the UFO?

Martyn: (to Netty) Oi! Stop that!

Grian: Where do you think it is? It is flying. It is in the sky.

Jimmy: As you can see the UFO is in the ai- (out if character) Guys. C'mon. Guys, seriously?!

Martyn: (Fighting Netty) Ugh! Get out of there! (Punches Netty out of the balcony) Get out of there. (Out if character) How far did you go flying?!

Netty: You threw me over the fence!

See the thing is I don’t think any of the Evo squad walked away from Evo as watchers except Grian…but none of them walked away unchanged. And a lot of what changed them was the Watchers and so that left it’s mark.

Like, Jimmy as the Canary is obvious. One of the first on the server and the last to leave and now doomed to be the first to fall forever.

Martyn is the one who escaped. Or so it seems. But something is off and it’s almost like he’s haunted. Or maybe hunted.

Netty…Netty is like Jimmy. She was there on day one and she preceded him off the server by fractions of seconds when it finally died. She saw up close what the Watchers are made of and the power they wield. A specific flavor of magic that she got her hands on and refused to release. Martyn is lost in the code. Netty walks through it.

BigB and Pearl… It’s no coincidence that they became the Nosy Neighbors and were Always Watching. They aren’t Watchers. Not really. But they See things Players aren’t meant to see. And sometimes they can do more than See. Sometimes BigB can speak and be spoken to by entities other than Players, and sometimes Pearl can walk where Players aren’t supposed to.

And they all underwent some physical changes too. Jimmy and Pearl’s were the most noticeable; the changing colors of their wings, but they were not the only ones.

So, game night with Evo is… not as bad as Xisuma expected. Sure, it's chaotic but they have some sense of order. Unsurprisingly, their admin, Grian, is not the one keeping the order, instead it was Netty. The poor girl losing her mind trying to keep track of all 10 other Evo members plus the five other hermits. 

Mentioning Grian. There is no way that is Grian. For starters, it's not a secret that Grian is a shapeshifter but he's got that rule about changing his entire appearance, and this Grian looks nothing like the hermit's Grian. But, you can tell from how he acts that they are the same person.   - 

Currently, everyone is split up, playing their own games. The most notable is the group playing twister. Grian and Taurtis were the only two left in the game, Pearl was spinning the wheel whilst Impulse, Scar and Gem hovered around her, giggling. Pearl refused to let Grian and Taurtis come down claiming there just had to be a winner. 

“Pearl! Please, my arms are tired!” Grian whined, he was currently doing the crab across the map. Pearl simply laughed before spinning the wheel. “Taurtis! Right hand red!” Gem called out, smiling.

Taurtis moved his  hand to red, which “Coincidentally” ended up near Grian’s head, causing him to end up on top of Grian making them both quite flustered, “Pearl! You're doing this on purpose!” 

“We stopped spinning like 15 minutes ago,” she chuckled. 

As she spoke Taurtis’ arm grew tired causing it to collapse and for him to fall straight down.. Landing on top of Grian, “Agh- Grian! You're a very nice pillow.” Grian immediately pushed Taurtis off him, (Gently, ofcourse) and began running after Pearl.

“Grian- GRIAN! GET OFF PEARL!?” Netty cried, running over to break up the two siblings.
