AFL star reveals league made him 'seem like a piece of dirt' early in profession|PerthNow
Tumblr media
Chad Wingard has exposed a racial profiling incident earlier in his career and detailed the consequences of speaking out versus racism. The 26-year-old
put himself on a" traditional media "ban following the death of George Floyd in the US at the hands of cops, saying Australian media were just revealing the negativity surrounding the resulting riots and protests, while brushing over racial inequalities in Australia.Speaking on The Advertiser's Black Australia podcast, Wingard said he had actually spoken with previous footballer Tony Armstong after he went public with a story of being racially profiled in Melbourne, with Wingard recounting a similar story from his days with Port Adelaide."I'm not at Port(Adelaide)now so I can say it-- we used to have a choccy run, go to the stores the night before a video game
and get a number of chocolates," Wingard stated. "Me, Jakey Neade, Alipate Carlile and Jackson Trengove used to come with us, however this time it was just me and Jake in a grocery store in Perth."We got our chocolates and concerned the front desk to spend for it and the guy(store attendant) got really aggressive and said, 'Em pty your pockets, you men are stealing '. Neadey was calm and I fired
up ... to the point there was this burning desire I could feel inside me."Simply from that simple thing we were minding our own organisation spending for our food, we were actually made to open all our pockets and show him we were not taking, we paid for our food and we left." The two-time All-Australian likewise explained he felt worthless early in his career as a result of clubs declining to publicly call out racial attacks directed at him." If they're going to compose this for everyone to see on my photo, we've got to call them out, and they have now, AFL and AFL clubs do
call it out now but this wasn't occurring at the start of my career,"Wingard stated." This was on a weekly basis if you enter into your DM's or if you go into a photo, that was typical.
That was regular and clubs didn't want to call it out at all and it made you seem like a piece of dirt that you weren't sufficient for them to back you in." Wingard also said he was at first afraid to put his face to a push against racism, fearing he would be targeted similar to AFL fantastic Adam Goodes." I expect the huge thing for me was I didn't wish to put a face up there for Australia to target, I indicate we saw what happened to Adam Goodes," Wingard said."If you watch the movie, listen to his interviews, the method that they changed or controlled I expect
the spin on things it was actually tough to watch." I don't desire to be out of control I desire to be in control of what I'm stating and I believe this(the podcast)is the very best platform."A chorus of AFL stars and coaches have actually lent their voice to support Indigenous Australians and stand against racism, with the Brisbane Lions partaking in a program of solidarity at training this week.

Our Biggest Year...
I’ve been collecting my thoughts, but no one REALLY likes hoarders...
Tumblr media
First, and most important...THANK YOU! To everyone...
The MRPC, The United Parish of Lunenburg, everyone...
We shot 152 sessions in 2018. In 2017 we shot 138. As a reminder, in 2015 we shot 21.
It’s not the 168 that I initially thought, and I’ll get to that...
_________________
You voted for two puppy names this year. It was a tight race for a while, but when the next few batch of puppies comes in to start their training at NEADS, there will be...
Gordon...after photographer Gordon Parks.

Get it? Double E? Dubley?

WATCH THIS! The first five minutes or so are photos of dogs, and sometimes their people...

______________
We had at least three dogs have “accidents” on the floor. Including these two Great Dane pups... They are not labs... Part of the fun...
One of them started to go, and it was as if the other one said “Oh, is this what we’re doing now?” and let it rip... while walking around... everywhere... Part of the fun...
Tumblr media
We had return customers...
Some people coming in for their fourth time...
We had new folks...
We had new babies...BRAND NEW BABIES...
We had teenagers... holy smokes you guys...just give me one good smile...
Growing families...
Families going through some stuff...keep going...
People bringing their own props...
Tumblr media
LOVE THIS!
We had a hell of time finding locations for this year, and I need to do better and plan earlier with this... Gaaahhhh! NETFLIX!! HULU!!! (shakes fist)
Tumblr media
Thanks to Glen and the Montachusett Regional Planning Commission for letting me shoot in their entryway for the second weekend.
We were a couple centimeters away from having to cancel one of the days... ahh..documentary photography...
We had college students come in remotely...
Tumblr media
We had Emma... who took advantage of me not locking my phone, and gave us this:
Tumblr media
I really can’t begin to express how grateful I am for Emma’s willingness to endure long days and limited snack options to help her Uncle Ed with his crazy hobby... Thank you Emma...
The Housh Family came back, and didn’t disappoint...
Tumblr media
We had a 12 foot gray paper background, lost on a truck, somewhere in Pennsylvania, so I went to three Targets and a Wal-Mart, the day before Thanksgiving, looking for enough black out curtains, of the same style, in the same color, that I thought maybe I could make work, but they were too short, so on Thanksgiving, I cut one in segments, and taped it to the bottom, and set it up after a quick Thanksgiving dessert with my family, but the seam made everything look weird, so I went home and got a nine foot roll of gray paper, and set it up at dawn the next day, shoot day, but there were some weird lines in it, so I took that down, and put up two black fabric panels which I brought just in case. The sausage got made. Photo Sausage. Trademark.
A few photos were snapped of me...

We celebrated, snacked, and raffled off props...

___________________
So...the nitty gritty, and the lessons...
Tumblr media
I had space for 165 sessions, not 168.
We sold out. We had a wait list with 50+ names on it.
Then we had a few cancellations which I filled, then a couple more a day or two before the shoots, and then a few less than 24 hours before the shoot, then less than 12 hours, then a couple no shows.
It’s a lot for me to manage in the middle of prep and shooting and editing, etc..
So, we shot 152 sessions. It’s huge, and I am so proud. Truly.
But it could have been a bit larger. It was supposed to be. I ran out of time and energy when I should have been filling cancelled spaces.
We raffled off the props and prints and brought in an additional $327.
So I’m rounding up a bit, and contributing an additional $973 to get us to the $16,500 that we initially sold out with. It’s our biggest year. Even without the rounding up. $5500 for NEADS, $5500 for the Worcester County Food Bank, and $5500 for the Worldwide Orphans Foundation.

________________
So far, in just four years, the Simple Shot Experiment has been able to donate $43,900 in shoot fees.
Sometimes I forget to slow down and to be proud of this, but I really am. I just move on to the next item and don’t take the time to reflect.
Tumblr media
receiving a Harvester Award from the Worcester County Food Bank in November
My friend Deb said something like this this to me at the celebration event “You’re showing people that they can make a difference with the skills that they have.”
That made my night.
I really have a great time when I’m shooting. Solving visual problems, while trying to figure out how to make a toddler smile, simultaneously getting multiple dogs’ attention by using a squeaky toy like a thigh master, all while trying my best to have you guys not see me look at the clock, because sometimes twenty minutes goes by REALLY fast when you just need ONE smile out of a teething teenager...and someone showed up early, and, and, and...
It’s a challenge, and I love it
That’s the experiment... How hard can I work, and how much can we raise...
When I finally hang up my camera, or my body gives out, whichever happens first...I want that total donation amount to be significant. I want to know that I have worked hard enough with my limited skillset to make a difference for people and organizations doing REAL good in this world. I imagine it will be a good way to retire.
________________
But it’s getting a little expensive, and it’s just a hobby
So, we’re going to tweak how we do things. Just a bit.
1. We’re going to have people pre-pay when they sign up. People have told me The new system worked well this year.
2. If you have to cancel, you can give away your spot, but I can’t spend the time filling it. It’s too much.
3. The session fee next year will be $110. $100 will be a donation to the charities, and $10 to cover the cost of the hall rentals, postage for gift prints, and the nuts and bolts of doing this.
4. We’re going to sell raffle tickets for props, prints, gift certificates, etc., during the shoot itself. I think we’ll be able to raise more this way. I love seeing people at the celebration event, but it’s a lot of work, and the ROI needs to bump up a bit.
5. I’ll be asking for help. Which I’m not good at. For donation items, for set-up help. For picking up munchkins. Thanks to Simple Shotters Jake and Dan who work at Frito Lay, the snacks are covered for next year.
6. We’re opening registration to everyone, at the same time. Emails and Facebook.
So that’s where we are...
Thank you to everyone for your support and enthusiasm, and coming back year after year. Email or DM me with ideas and suggestions for next year, and I’ll see you in 2019!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Eagles go tall, Port hand speedy mid a debut
Rocky’s reason, Hogan the hero and more Alex Malcolm and Romy Stephens bring you all the latest news on Footy Feed
Scott Lycett is back for the Eagles
WEST Coast ruckman Scott Lycett will make his long-awaited comeback against Port Adelaide on Sunday, while Eagles veteran Mark LeCras has also been recalled for the crunch game in Perth.
Lycett has endured a frustrating run with injuries since his last AFL appearance in last year’s elimination final, undergoing an off-season PCL reconstruction and then dislocating his shoulder playing a WAFL practice match in March.
Check out all the round 16 teams
But the 203cm big man has finally managed to find a spot in the 22 after four games back for East Perth, coming in alongside LeCras, skipper Shannon Hurn and Brownlow medallist Matt Priddis.
LeCras has missed the past two games due to a hip issue and is in the midst of a four-game goal drought – the longest of his career – but coach Adam Simpson has backed the veteran against the Power at Domain Stadium.
Midfielder Jack Redden has been dropped again – along with young defender Tom Cole and Chris Masten – with experienced backman Sam Butler (hamstring) forced out of the side which upset the Western Bulldogs.
The Power have handed a debut to Joe Atley for another crucial clash against a top-eight rival, while Jack Hombsch returns for the trip west.
Jake Neade has been axed and Matthew Broadbent misses due to an ankle complaint.
Melbourne has made four changes for its clash against Carlton at the MCG, headlined by spearhead Jesse Hogan’s comeback.
Hogan will play his first game since round seven after undergoing testicular cancer surgery and returns alongside lively forward Jeff Garlett, Dean Kent and rookie Joel Smith.
Skipper Jack Viney (foot), Tomas Bugg (suspension) and Dom Tyson (knee) have been forced out of the side which lost to Sydney, with Mitch White omitted.
Former captain Jack Trengove is among the emergencies.
The Blues have regained talented youngster Sam Petrevski-Seton alongside Harrison Macreadie and Jed Lamb.
Defender Caleb Marchbank misses out due to a shoulder complaint, while Nick Graham and Liam Sumner have been dropped.
Fremantle welcomes back star midfielder Stephen Hill (calf) for Sunday’s clash against North Melbourne at Etihad Stadium, and has recalled Connor Blakely and Shane Kersten.
Blakely was suspended by the club for last Sunday’s loss to St Kilda, while Kersten booted two goals for Peel after being dropped for the first time by the Dockers.
The ex-Cat replaces suspended forward Cam McCarthy, while Aaron Sandilands (hamstring) and Lee Spurr (calf) are also out of the side.
Half-back Ryan Nyhuis has missed out on the chance to become Freo’s seventh debutant this season.
The Kangaroos have brought back tough midfielders Ben Cunnington (suspension) and Trent Dumont among four changes.
Jy Simpkin also returns after a shoulder issue, with 2014 draft pick Daniel Nielson set to debut.
Star forward Jarrad Waite (calf), emerging youngster Mason Wood (calf) and half-back Jamie Macmillan (finger) make way, while Ryan Clarke has been dropped.

Returning Eagle won’t get an easy Ryder
The Eagles must quell Paddy Ryder’s influence to have any chance of beating Port
RETURNING West Coast ruckman Scott Lycett has been set the challenge of breaking even with Port Adelaide’s Paddy Ryder.
Lycett hasn’t played a match this season after undergoing shoulder surgery in March, and he faces a huge first-up task against the Power at Domain Stadium on Sunday.
Ryder carved up the Eagles in round seven, tallying 42 hit-outs, 20 disposals, seven marks, and a goal in a masterful display.
His dominance helped Port Adelaide win the clearances (44-35) and inside-50m count (68-39), but West Coast made the most of their limited chances to win by 10 points.
If Ryder gets off the leash again, it could propel Port Adelaide to an important win in Perth.
West Coast ruck coach Dean Cox is backing Lycett to lift for the challenge, saying the 24-year-old is ready to go after making it through four WAFL matches unscathed.
“Ryder is probably the form ruckman in the competition at this present stage,” Cox said.
“If Lycett can square that battle off, it will go a long way towards getting the result we’re after.
“Throughout the whole year Ryder’s given his midfielders first use.
“He’s been really good around the ground taking contested marks.
“So it’s just a matter of trying to make sure we quell some of his influence, because he was very dominant against us last time.”
West Coast have been boosted by the return of Shannon Hurn (concussion), Mark LeCras (hip), and Matt Priddis (thigh), while Josh Kennedy (calf) will miss another week.
It means Lycett and Nathan Vardy will team together in the ruck, with Drew Petrie to play up forward.
Port Adelaide called up debutant Joe Atley and Jack Hombsch to replace Jake Neade (omitted) and Matthew Broadbent (ankle).
LeCras and Priddis have copped widespread criticism for their series of underwhelming displays in recent times but Cox is confident his former teammates will produce a strong display.
The Power have been labelled pretenders for their inability to beat a top-eight side this season.
But Eagles coach Adam Simpson said Port Adelaide’s ability to thrash a number of sides this year meant they were a premiership threat.
“It’s a pretty good system they’ve got there,” Simpson said.
“They’ve definitely improved since last year, and they’re a genuine threat to go all the way this year.”

Jed Lamb back for Carlton after concussion, Caleb Marchbank out injured
Carlton’s Jed Lamb will return to football on Sunday after he missed round 15 due to concussion he suffered following an elbow from Richmond’s Bachar Houli.
Lamb was understood to be feeling significant effects of the concussion for some four and five days after he was hit by Houli, and was therefore left out of the Carlton side that lost to Adelaide last Saturday.

Houli was initially suspended for two weeks by the AFL tribunal, with his suspension extended to four weeks on appeal.
Lamb returns to Carlton’s side along with Sam Patrevski-Seton and Harrison Macreadie, although promising young defender Caleb Marchbank is out due to a hairline fracture in his shoulder.
Marchbank will miss three to four weeks with the injury but won’t require surgery. He has played all 14 games this year and was nominated for the Rising Star award in round six.
Nick Graham and Liam Sumner will also miss Sunday’s clash with Melbourne, both omitted.
Melbourne have confirmed Jesse Hogan will play after his lay off for cancer treatment, while Jeff Garlett, Dean Kent and Joel Smith will also return to the side.

Hogan hasn’t played since round seven this year. His return is made more significant given the injury to Carlton’s Marchbank.
North Melbourne will welcome back Ben Cunnington from suspension, along with Trent Dumont, Daniel Nielsen and Jy Simpkin. They’ve replaced the injured Jarrad Waite, Jamie MacMillan and Mason Wood, and the omitted Ryan Clarke.
Nielsen will play his first game for the club after being taken at pick 25 in the 2014 draft.
Their opponents Fremantle will be boosted by the return of Stephen Hill, who will be joined in the side by Shane Kersten and Connor Blakely, who was last week suspended for going surfing after he left training sick.
They’ve replaced the injured Aaron Sandilands and Lee Spurr and the suspended Cam McCarthy.
Meanwhile for Sunday’s game at Adelaide Oval, West Coast have regained Mark LeCras, Matt Priddis, Shannon Hurn and Scott Lycett. Out of the team are the injured Sam Butler along with Chris Masten, Jack Redden and Tom Cole.
For Port Adelaide, Jack Hombsch and Joe Atley come into the side. Going out of the side are Matthew Broadbent and Jake Neade.
Atley, the younger brother of North Melbourne’s Shaun, will play his first game after being drafted in 2016 at pick 32.

Match report: Tigers stake top-four claim
NOT all games need to be clean, crisp, high-scoring contests to be entertaining.
What the 39,979 people witnessed at Adelaide Oval on Saturday night was frantic, messy and full of mistakes, interwoven with moments of brilliance.
Richmond supporters won’t care. Nor should they.
Full match coverage and stats
In the end, the Tigers stood up under intense pressure to grab a huge scalp and move up to fourth on the ladder.
On the back of an outstanding performance from Brownlow Medal contender Dustin Martin, the Tigers produced a huge second half to defeat Port Adelaide by 13 points – 11.10 (76) to 8.15 (63).
Dan Butler chimed in with three goals straight, including a brilliant run and carry through the middle of the ground that will be among the contenders for goal of the round.
His final major in the last quarter put the Tigers up by 19 points mid-way through the last quarter.
The Tigers (9-5) booted eight goals to three in the second half, and six straight goals in the third and fourth quarters, en route to their fourth win from their past five.
“It was pretty special,” Tigers coach Damien Hardwick said of the win.
“We didn’t play particularly well, I thought every player had a really big moment at every stage and I hope our fans back home are really proud of the players, I thought they showed enormous heart.
“We were under siege, especially in a period in the second quarter and the players just fought it out. GAME BREAKER: Fend-off king sets a new record
“We had to find a different way to win.
“Our game wasn’t spot on tonight, either was Port Adelaide’s, I was really proud of how the players fought it out and managed to get the four points, it’s a really big win over here, there’s no doubt.”
For the Power (8-6), yet another loss against a top-eight side will continue talk about their flat-track bully reputation.
“Our conversion tonight was our biggest issue,” Power coach Ken Hinkley said of his sides waywardness in front of goal.
“It has been more than a couple times this year.
“If we’re being really honest, that’s the thing stopping us from making the next step, stopping us beating the sides we need to beat to be a genuine threat in the competition.”
Martin ran riot in the midfield with 37 possessions while also kicking a clutch goal in the third term.
A goal from midfield bull Sam Powell-Pepper gave the Power a sniff, but Jayden Short sealed the result for the Tigers.
Kane Lambert (33 disposals), Dion Prestia (24) and Brandon Ellis (29) were busy, while debutant Tyson Stengle kicked a couple of crucial goals.
Chad Wingard was a standout for the Power, racking up 39 touches in the midfield, while Powell-Pepper must surely have enhanced his chances for the NAB Rising Star with another brilliant game (24 disposals and two goals).
Power star Robbie Gray was held to just 1.3 and 14 possessions after a match-turning five goals against Collingwood last week.
Jackson Trengove played as a defensive forward with his sole task consisting of shutting down Alex Rance.
Five talking points: Port Adelaide v Richmond
Trengove applied physical pressure to Rance at every opportunity and didn’t allow the dynamic defender any space.
Rance was quiet in the first half, but the All Australian showed his class to exert himself on the contest when the game was up for grabs, finishing with 19 possessions.
Power defender Hamish Hartlett picked up a quad injury in the third quarter and didn’t return to the game.
The Power led 1.6 (12) to 1.4 (10) at quarter-time, but the Tigers hit the front when Sam Lloyd converted truly from right in front.
Small forward Jake Neade – a late inclusion for key defender Jack Hombsch with a knee injury – was superb with his chasing and pressure.
After wasting plenty of opportunities, goals to Sam Gray and Trengove gave the Power a 15-point lead – 5.11 (41) to 3.8 (26) – at the main break.
It wasn’t pretty, but the Tigers won’t care.
MEDICAL ROOM Port Adelaide: Key defender Jack Hombsch was a late scratching with a knee injury, although it was partly a tactical switch to counter Richmond’s small forward line. Half-back flanker Hamish Hartlett copped a cork to his quad in the third quarter and didn’t return. “It was just a knee right into the thigh, so you’d imagine that shouldn’t be too big a deal,” Power coach Ken Hinkley said.
Richmond: The Tigers reported a clean bill of health.
NEXT UP Richmond aims to consolidate its spot in the top four when it takes on St Kilda at Etihad Stadium next Saturday night. The Power will attempt to win its first game against a top-eight side when it takes on West Coast at Domain Stadium next Sunday.

Final teams: Gold Coast v North Melbourne
Jack Hombsch picked up a knock to his knee in last weekend’s win against Collingwood
PORT Adelaide has been dealt a late blow for Saturday night’s crucial encounter with Richmond at Adelaide Oval, losing defender Jack Hombsch to a knee injury.
Hombsch picked up a knock to his knee in last weekend’s win against Collingwood.
Small forward Jake Neade comes into the side to replace Hombsch.
Neade’s inclusion will most likely see Jarman Impey deployed in a defensive role that he has played during his career.
The Power could have also decided to leave Hombsch out of its side for better team balance to combat the small forward line of the Tigers.
Both sides are jockeying for positions in the top four, with the teams locked on an 8-5 record, but the Power have a superior percentage.

TEAMS: Cats hit by injury, Giants load up
– Cats lose four to injury, hand debut to younger Guthrie – Ladder-leading Giants top up further with three stars – Jed Lamb out with concussion amid six Blues changes
GEELONG has lost four players to injury ahead of its blockbuster with Greater Western Sydney, but has named skipper Joel Selwood for the Saturday night clash.
Scott Selwood (hamstring), Tom Stewart (facial fracture), George Horlin-Smith (ankle) and Darcy Lang (leg) will all miss the battle between the top-four sides, while a fitness cloud remains over Joel Selwood as he races the clock to play the Giants after last week’s concussion.
The Cats will blood debutant Zach Guthrie, a clever defender who is the younger brother of midfielder Cam, while Lachie Henderson, Zac Smith and Aaron Black have also been selected.
The Giants will be bolstered by the return of an important trio, headlined by vital midfielder Josh Kelly, who is back after a week out with a hip injury. Devon Smith has been recalled from a long lay-off with a knee problem and Rory Lobb from a groin issue.
Check out all the round 15 teams
They replace injured pair Tim Taranto (ankle) and Harrison Himmelberg (finger), while Daniel Lloyd has been omitted for Saturday night’s meeting with the Cats at Spotless Stadium.
Former co-captain Jarrad McVeigh will return to the Sydney side against Melbourne on Friday night after overcoming a hamstring injury, while Zak Jones is back after serving his one-match suspension.
Youngster Will Hayward will miss with a foot injury while ruckman Callum Sinclair has been dropped.
Melbourne has upgraded rookie defender Mitch White to the senior list and brought him in to face the Swans in the important battle, with Josh Wagner also in. But the Dees have lost crucial pair Christian Salem and Jeff Garlett to hamstring strains.
West Coast will head to Melbourne for Saturday’s clash with the Western Bulldogs without skipper Shannon Hurn (concussion), Brownlow medallist Matt Priddis (soreness) and Josh Hill (illness).
After beating his suspension at the AFL Tribunal, defender Will Schofield has been ruled out with a hip injury. Chris Masten, Jack Redden, Sharrod Wellingham and Sam Butler have been recalled by the Eagles for the important clash.
The Bulldogs have made just one change, with skipper Robert Murphy back from a hamstring injury and replacing Tom Liberatore, who will miss with a cork.
Carlton has made six changes for its Saturday afternoon clash with Adelaide at the MCG, with Ed Curnow (larynx) and Jed Lamb (concussion) to miss through injury and Blaine Boekhorst, Billie Smedts and Jarrod Pickett dropped. Sam Petrevski-Seton will miss through ‘management’.
Lamb has not recovered after being struck by Richmond’s Bachar Houli early in last week’s loss.
Adelaide’s long wait to have Mitch McGovern back in its forward line is over, with the high-flying target named to come up against the Blues. McGovern hasn’t played since suffering a serious hamstring in round three.
Riley Knight and David Mackay are also back, with Tom Lynch (illness), Charlie Cameron (wrist) and Andy Otten (omitted) out of the side.
Gary Ablett’s 300-game celebrations had to be put on hold for a week after he was a late withdrawal last week, but the Gold Coast champion is back for the Suns’ meeting with North Melbourne at Metricon Stadium on Saturday as he reaches the milestone.
Ablett is joined by Matt Rosa and Ryan Davis in the Suns’ line-up, with Matt Shaw, Jesse Joyce and Darcy MacPherson all dropped.
Mitch Hibberd and Corey Wagner have come in for the Roos, replacing Ben Cunnington (suspension) and Trent Dumont (managed).
Richmond will blood another new small forward, with exciting South Australian Tyson Stengle coming into the Tigers’ side to face Port Adelaide.
Stengle replaces fellow goalkicker Shai Bolton, who has been rested, while Oleg Markov comes in for the suspended Houli.
Matthew Broadbent and Jared Polec have been brought into the Power side, with Aaron Young and Jake Neade cut.
Essendon is set to welcome back Cale Hooker and Darcy Parish for its clash with the Brisbane Lions at Etihad Stadium on Sunday, with Matthew Leuenberger and potential debutant Josh Begley also included in the Dons’ squad.
Shaun McKernan, who kicked two goals last week as a replacement for Hooker, is the only Bomber to make way at this stage.
Dayne Beams’ AC joint injury will keep him out of the Lions‘ line-up for about a month, but the club has named Cedric Cox, Marco Paparone and Jono Freeman in its extended squad, with Josh Walker named to play.
Collingwood’s Josh Thomas is a chance to play his first senior game since serving his anti-doping ban. The midfielder is named on the extended bench for the Pies’ contest with the Hawks on Sunday, alongside other potential inclusions Matt Scharenberg and Jackson Ramsay. Important forward Jamie Elliott will play, as will giant forward/ruck Mason Cox.
James Aish and Ben Crocker have been dropped by the Magpies, while Hawthorn has recalled premiership defender Ben Stratton from injury. Dallas Willsmore and Kurt Heatherley have also been included in the Hawks’ extended squad.
Fremantle captain Nat Fyfe headlines the Dockers’ changes for their meeting with St Kilda on Sunday at Domain Stadium, with ruckman Aaron Sandilands and Brady Grey also added to the 25-man squad. Both Fyfe and Sandilands are named in the starting lineup.
The Saints have added Jack Steele, Daniel McKenzie and Ben Long to their squad, all of whom are on an extended bench.
