It's been days, and I'm still processing the finale. I'm definitely going to need a full, pausing every 10 seconds to analyze the scene, rewatch just to appreciate everything.

Before I do, though, here's some crazy, totally baseless what ifs (not theories, just thoughts) that may or may not be going on my fic ideas list:

What if the first time we're shown of them meeting, they're BOTH traveling back in time in their own bodies to save each other and that's why they're both so intense and weird right away?

What if every dive we see in season 1 is Lu Guang from the future, and he's not actually guiding CXS to follow the exact path of the customer but the path that would affect their timeline in subtle but optimal ways to save CXS?

What if CXS died saving Lu Guang (is that even a what if? That's definitely what happened) and Lu Guang ends up going back to the day they met and just.... doesn't play basketball with CXS so that they never meet? (What if he tried that, but it still doesn't change anything? What if it worked but CXS never opened up after his parents left and isn't the same sunshine boy?)

What if CXS's parents disappearance is the result of Lu Guang fucking with the timeline?

What if CXS has to go back in time and make a decision between saving his parents and saving Lu Guang? Or just listening to Lu Guang and CSX ruins whatever plan he's not aware of and dies anyway...

Man, I just want to write something fluffy, but I guess my brain is wired for angst at the moment.
