She is not a woman to hug or touch you spontaneously, so it came as a surprise when she tucked a strand of your hair behind your ear and you melted under her touch. From then on, she made sure to hold you a bit more.

‘You’re back from your match already? Good job, darling. Come here - I missed your company.’

She’s not too used to human contact, and one could say she’s touch-starved herself, but it’s not something she craves. It’s hard to say it doesn’t feel good, however, and she looks forward to hugging you after every match.

‘It’s understandable how you feel about being touched… I myself did not have much affection while growing up. I suppose you’ll remedy that.’

She’s a pretty good hugger and consistent with affection, and will certainly remedy your loneliness.

Alva

He is also rather touch-starved, with the years spent being a hermit in the woods after the second betrayal by the Balsas making him crave human interaction, as much as he tried to suppress it. While he courts in a rather old-fashioned way, with flowers and gifts, he hesitates to invite you dancing as he is worried he may be hurt again.

‘Ah… you would like a hug? I couldn’t say that I am opposed to it, however it is that… for personal reasons I’m afraid I must decline.’

Slowly, his feelings towards you would envelop his caution, and gingerly at first, he will touch your hand gently in reassurance. Tell him that he can take it as slow as possible.

‘Caro… I’m sorry that you have to be like this with me… I wish we were more… like normal couples. You don’t mind?… I do not deserve you.’

You’ll have to initiate most affections, but, as he gets more comfortable, you won’t be able to get rid of him. He’ll follow you around like a loss puppy and show you his new inventions with as much excitement you could get out of him.
