I had a feeling when we saw Scar’s skin on namemc that Scar and Grian wouldn't go red episode four (I don't mean to underestimate desert duo’s ability to die twice in one episode but they’d been doing pretty well so far, and it just didn't feel right) but what I did not expect was for the session to end with desert duo as the only greens and divorce quartet as the only yellows

#Me Talking #StopLife series #double life smp #double life week 4 #double life spoilers #desert duo are good at somehow escaping certain death we learned this from third life #I'm also going to say in the tags that I don't anticipate desert duo actually breaking up #firstly because mortal peril has a way of bringing relationships closer together and they just got mobbed by half the server #but also the way they have been in dl is just sorta how they always have been? #Grian acts like it's a burden on his shoulders to be with Scar and also goes out of his way to keep him safe and happy #Scar ignores Grian and is frustrated with Grian sometimes and complains loudly but also he stays #they look uniquely vulnerable to being broken up and they never choose to be together but the thing is #their status quo is remarkably stable and will keep on like it has been despite how unstable it looks #it's fun! #divorce quartet meanwhile the obvious strategic advantages and the inter-soulmate violence balance each other out #number one cause of death for soulmate pairs is both soulmates being in the same dangerous situation together #number one cause of death for Scott and Cleo is Pearl and Martyn #but in any other situation Scott and Cleo are pretty safe because of the two health bars thing
