♓:  my muse’s biggest secret :)
Ki'to's a pretty open book for the most part, so he doesn't have many deep, dark secrets that his friends at least don't know about.
I think Fray/Esteem was the biggest one, but that cat's out of the bag now so-
Tumblr media
A more lighthearted(?) one that I can think of due to him wanting to stay anonymous, however, is that after the conclusion of the Dragonsong War, he's been anonymously donating gil to every orphanage in Ishgard that he knows of.
He'll check in with Aymeric every so often to see how it's received and what their plans are, as well as how the kids are doing.
In all honesty, he's also helping out his future child(ren) in the process, provided Aymeric and G'raha are up for parenthood later on. As Ishgard is where he planned to adopt from.
I know this seems like a cheap reply, but it's got its reasons. Bear with me.
Not only does Ki'to see it as a way to help those in need, especially children, of which he is so fond, or to spread love as one devoted to Menphina; As a young boy growing up in the wilds of Coerthas, he ran into a young orphan about his age. Having grown up in a rather large family, it was baffling to know that there are those without that familial bond.
The young man, Yves, shared with the young kit his story. One he listened to very attentively. The tale of a waylaid caravan bound for Ishgard, and two brave souls taken by dragons as they protected their son. The boy fled for days to the only place he knew was safe, shadow hiding his movements from draconic eyes as he ran through the wilds of Dravania and Coerthas, and there he met with a very curious cat.
Ki'to brought him to their camp, relaying his story to the hunters, and made sure he was fed, rested, and brought safely to Ishgard. That was the last he saw of the boy (Or so he thought, as he happened to be one of the helmed Dragoons who fought alongside him), but to this day he never forgot just how many Yves' there were among those who survived the war. And so he gives what he can that they might know some comfort in this unforgiving world.
