No one's talking to me nd I'm alone with my thoughts so y'all get a full breakdown of my weeb!geralt au I hope y'all're happy

Anyway geralt loves anime nd video games but hides it bc it's embarrassing. Only ciri, yen, nd his brothers know abt it. Ciri watches stuff like precure nd yo-kai watch with him, but really only plays animal crossing. His brothers are like into the exact same shows nd games as him tho. The three of them constantly play like king of fighters nd soul caliber together nd sometimes all hop onto ac just to chat together bc when they do fighting games it usually ends with them just yelling at eachother. Yen nd geralt started dating before geralt realized he was bi nd she was the first person he ever like opened up to abt his intrest. Even tho yen isn't into anime nd stuff, she still watches with him bc it makes him happy nd there's some legitimately good shows out there so it's not the worst.

What she does enjoy tho is cosplaying with geralt. She loves the challenge some of these weird ass character designs give her, nd she also genuinely loves how happy it makes geralt to dress up for a con. Geralt always tries to go to a con with his brothers, so when he invited yen to join them it was kind of a big deal lmao.

Some time later, both yen nd geralt realize that hey, they kind of have feelings for jaskier, geralt's musician bff. Even tho the both of them are certain they like him nd have talked abt dating him, geralt is still nervous abt opening up abt his intrest bc even tho they've been friends for years now, geralt's never ever told him abt it. So, yen doesn't mention it as the two of them start dating jask, leaving it for geralt to finally feel comfortable with telling him.

When geralt finally does muster up the courage, it's during one of their date nights nd geralt is like "I have smth to tell you but um, it might just be easier to show you." Nd jask is sooooo confused bc like what could it be he already knows abt ciri who is just an ANGEL who he LOVES. But when geralt nd yen get him home, geralt is noticeably fidgeting with his necklace (fuck you this is canon I'm making it canon) so yen holds his hand nd is like "dear, it'll be alright. You've got nothing to worry about." Geralt looks at jask nd says "listen. You told me abt your thing for sexy pirates, so I don't wanna hear anything from you when I take you down to the basement."

So obviously jask is expecting like a whole ass dungeon or smth when he walks down. But when geralt turns on the light nd jask is just met with a totally decked out game space filled with geralt's anime merch ranging from dojins to official figs nd his custom fight stick, jask just looks at the two of them nd is like ??????? "Am I missing smth?" Nd geralt is BRIGHT RED nd hiding his face in his hands while yen is just rubbing his shoulder with a smile like "no jask, geralt is just strangely embarrassed by perfectly normal things."

After that, geralt starts opening up more abt his interests nd jask finds out that like geralt is a semi-pro soul caliber player (he mains siegfried) nd that him nd ciri watch anime together after she finishes her hw nd even gets him to do the precure transformations nd dances. Yen has many vids of it bc it's adorable. He also finally gets to see alllllll of geralt's early college cosplay pics from when geralt was scared of wig care so he only did silver nd white haired anime boys lmao. Jask adores those pics tbh.

Eventually, during ciri’s winter break nd after jask yen nd geralt are all an official thing, they all go to geralt’s dad’s place nd jask not only finally gets to meet the two idiot brothers geralt is constantly pestering, but also gets to join them all to the con that the group has been going to since geralt was in college. Yen dresses up as nyx from hades, somehow making the Perfect wig for it. Geralt doesn’t though, bc it turns out he qualified for an amature kof tournament the con is doing for charity. So when they all get there, geralt yen nd jask go to the big conference room where all of the arcade games are set up and geralt goes to sign up nd fill out paperwork while jask and yen wander a little. Jask hears a ddr machine and sees that it’s empty rn (the game area is only open to people registering this early) so he’s like “wanna play while we wait?” nd yen being in full costume is like “that’s the stupidest thing you’ve ever said to me” all playful nd stuff as jask sticks his tongue out at her nd goes to the machine. As a surprise to EVERYONE, jask turns out to be a secret ddr master, just casually killing it like it’s nothing when he’s not even doing the lean (you know the one). Geralt nd yen end up watching him like in awe nd when jask comes down all flush and starting to sweat geralt is like “how did you do that!?” while jask is like “what? it’s just dancing. I’ve done harder when I took ballet.” Nd now the two of them have to live with the fact that they’re dating a freak of nature.
