#ten years since I've seen anyone with that last name other than my brother anyway #I guess it's great they went through the legal process of having my stepfather adopt me #or I guess it would have been great if he wasn't a garbage father who didn't like me #but I am super annoyed that they got my birth certificate changed #I don't want his fucking name on my birth certificate #and I've seen one with no listed father #I think my mother still has it #but that would require me to ask her about it and I don't wanna do that either lol
