"Homura is not a good person" Homura is 14 years old and has been placed in an endlessly miserable traumatic situation, she deserves to be a little evil

#Look 14 year olds don't make the best decisions under normal circumstances. #And Homura is that but having to suffer so much more #Like. Sorry she isn't the pinnacle of morality jeez #I know that's not what a lot of people who say that mean but it's just the wording that throws me off #'Homura isn't a good person' and that is completly justifiable under her circumstance #I count Rebellion Homura under this. I am not one of those people who are like #'Oh I liked Homura in the series but Rebellion made her irredeemable' #Like Rebellion Homura's actions are so understandable #Like. Okay. Here's how I see it: #Imagine you spending so much time time-looping the same month watch your friends and the one person you love die #Over and over and over again #And then the person you were time-looping for. The person you love. decides to sacrifice herself in an attempt to stop suffering #For all magical girls and you are the only one left with the knowledge that she ever existed #And then you are thrown into this other world were she and your friends are still alive #And it throws you into so much despair in the end that you turn into a witch #And then the one who sacrificed herself came to save you from your suffering #I Wouldn't blame you for being a little pissed. I don't even think Homura did what she did out of spite or anger #She said that it was her love for Madoka that allowed her to rewrite the universe #She loves Madoka so much. She just wants her to be happy. And if that means disrespecting her wish #And becoming the antithesis to God in a way.
