I came up with the idea to create stylish, fun backpacks for kids that tell stories of “Historical Superheroes” like Sojourner Truth, Tamika Mallory, Medgar Evers, etc. OUR history is often omitted from classroom textbooks and our kids are left thinking that only white men with names like George, Thomas, and Ben are responsible for shaping America.
