The Barbie movie is amazing but the ignorance of certain people who just wanna hop on the trend and don't care about learning/researching the doll's history it brought all over the internet really shows (long unasked for rant in the tags/rb)

#Dollbr #Barbie #I know a lot of people just want to have fun but especially on youtube there's a lot of them who just buy dolls to get attention #Since now Barbie is a trend #And they don't even bother to get certain information right- #Like for example A LOT of people mistake reproductions for legit vintage dolls (don't get me started on that damn 1994 number 1 repro) #And it's sad because they also get scammed and tricked easily when buying them because scalpers take advantage of their ignorance #But it would be really easy to just search up the signs to recognize a genuine number 1 Barbie (which is REALLY hard to come by anyway) #(You WON'T find a legit number 1 on ebay or mercari.
