Lol ♪ #It's a little early for Halloween but it's spooky season all month! #T'was a fun back-and-forth collab it's been a while since I did one like that haha #Brusk obviously made the super cute Scriabin (there's his costume! Adorable) but she also made the sketch! #And of course her own colouring and rendering ahh so pretty ♪ #And then for this one I did the rest - the lineart and the tones for the background and Edgar and the like haha #It was fun to actually give kid!Edgar a costume from scratch this time hehe #I do love the ninja costume but coming up with one off the cuff is super fun too! #I knew I wanted him to be some kind of red and black beetle - I just imagined him running around and explaining it with the Latin binomial #Cute tiny child tries to taxonomize to you for candy <3 #And then Scriabin just butts in like ''Yeah he's a ladybug let's go'' and Edgar gets so mad about it haha #But he is actually a ladybug! I didn't plan on it but once I saw the name I knew I couldn't back out #It's called a Twice-Stabbed Ladybug #It's perfect ♥ Mostly black carapace with two red spots ahhh it's too good #They've also got red bellies but shhhhshshhhshshshhhhhh #Lol #The fabric arms were fun to draw too haha #And so was that tree! Trees are basically just big gnarled cartoon hands so they're also fun to draw now lol #Fun fun
