I’ll probably ramble on forever about Emmy noms at a later time but here are some various thoughts
Bates Motel is horribly snubbed as per usual
Thought I’m not obsessed with The Leftovers like a lot of people, it deserved better
There’s literally no reason Modern Family should keep getting nominated when so many better comedies exist
Westworld kicked ass and I’m very happy
Big Little Lies kicked ass and I’m very happy
I love Jonathan Banks but WHY HIM OVER MICHAEL MCKEAN
The Saturday Night Live domination is a bit much, but Vanessa Bayer is an amazingly unexpected choice
Why Matt Walsh over Timothy Simons for this past season of Veep?
I’m loving The Handmaid’s Tale ownage but if it was gonna get so many acting noms, where’s Yvonne Strahovski?
Black Mirror did well but still deserved better tbh
