So I Know HPMA hasn't come Out Yet, but I already have a MC, I Thought It Would be cool to show you.

So, he follows The canon Of HPMA being a muggleborn and all.

His Father Is a known Gambler and her Mother a Tarot Reader, So The Cards are something almost characteristic and symbol Of His Family, that's Why he often visualize in His Head The spells as Cards as a type Of poker game If you can Call it that.

Since he sees The duels as play of Poker, Obviously he waits something in exchange, so One Time winning he would say “Well, You'll do me a Favor later.”

Tho, He's originally from Japan, His Family moved on to Britain, that's Why he received The letter

He's colorblind and for that reason uses The dark colored glasses

He prefers being called for The nickname “Clover” than His real name. he feels Like His “luck” Without needing Felix Felicis Is really a part Of who he is

Oh anon, I love it! First and foremost, that name is pretty damn awesome. I hope you don’t mind if I google that? Because I’m quite curious. (Insert jeopardy music here.) Alright, I’m back! So they’re both Japanese names and the name Aku represents openness and individuality. The name Midori translates to meaning “young leaf” I unironically love both of these. 

Dude I am really digging the symbolism of the cards. I’ve more or less adopted the same idea with flowers for the Fawley family - can you detect the Undertale influence? Though I guess feathers would also work well...I digress, I’ve never considered having a character with a gambling addiction before, but all of a sudden I’m wondering about that and wanting to incorporate it into someone. My immediate thought is Gail, but no...she’s too responsible. Perhaps Fiore? 

I love the exchange of favors, that’s such a valuable currency when it comes to storytelling and it really says a lot about a character if they deal in debt of that sort. “You owe me one.” Side note, him coming from Japan suddenly reminds me of Mahoukotoro. Hey, Pen Pal Anon! That’s another school that we could have a Pal for. It could include foreshadowing for the White Robed Wizard! 

...Okay, I need to introduce you to my good friend @thatoneparanormalresearcher because she’s also got an OC who is colorblind and wears dark glasses for that reason. Lily Black should meet Aku! I bet they would get along really well. It’s such a fun addition to add spectacles of any sort to a character. Especially if they’re unique or have a memorable aspect to them. I had a lot of fun designing what Lapis Tilandr’s sunnies would look like, to anyone following Accordance. I’m also really digging the whole “Clover” nickname, and the connection to luck. Also, this is once again reminding me that we have yet to make use of the Felix Felicius we brewed in Year 6...

I hate how in The beta They Never say Kevin and Cassandra last name Aloud, I have to guide me from a Translation sjdbdj

i Like This Headcannon Where Cassandra Is fond Of Spiders and Like, Clover Is fascinated for Them so, They Will randomly conjure Spiders and Let Them across their Room. “I Think we have something in common, Miss Wall” “Seems Like it, Mister Midori.”

Also, Since Cassandra Is a Half-blood can Understand Some Of The references to Movies Clover Throw sometimes and sometimes finish The lines for him.

Seriously Their Friendship Will be so odd but Actually I see it as a cool concept.

OMG CASS IS A SPIDER GAL... I’d hate to be in the Slytherin common room (I’m arachnophobe Hahah) .... ohhh that brings Clover and Cass together though!

For Some reason, I Think Cassandra actually Will Like Clover? Like His existence doesn't bother her as Daniel's and Ivy's. She just Think he could pursue better Friendships lol.

Also a Fact about Clover, though He's colorblind he relates colors with feelings, that's Why he Calls Daniel “The Gray/Blue boy” because have You seen him? He always seems Like he doesn't want to be there, The poor guy.
