In my fear and spite that a cishet white woman with residual racist habits would be in charge of our university's pride social messaging I have somehow found my way into internal meetings for university pride planning she is not party to

#i wish y'all could have seen her face when my colleague said 'its cute you said assisted us last pride instead of saved our asses' #and when our internal comms/dei colleague INSISTED on me joining her in the meeting tomorrow #all i had wanted to do was mention to photo that i wanted to do a photoshoot so we had landscape shots of campus with flags #so we didn't have to use shitty stock photos and everyone would have access #and the next thing i know she's asking me to come to her meetings all excited and our supervisor is encouraging #i said i didn't want to barge in where i wasnt invited but i was free so if id be helpful and then i got a bunch of calendar invites #AND SOCIALS FACE! she had said she was maybe interested in going and no one took it seriously i guess #cause she interrupted dei/internal's time to mention she'd made headers for pride?? whatever that means i bet they're from canva #ANYWAY!!! we're saving the hubris for monday but i will not let an ignorant cishet run roughshod over pride and LGBTQIA history month
