i hate this post so much because there's an inherent assumption in it that the only reason to be doing a 30 books in 30 weeks challenge is because you want Content for your channel and not because you fucking like reading* but need a little push to do more. if i go to the porch for an hour with lemonade i'm taking my book with me. this is anti-intellectual nonsense masquerading as anti-grind culture.

#in fact i'm about to take my...uh...weird bad tisane out to the porch with my book #i blazed through the first half of the Tyrant Baru Cormorant like i was in high school with a paper due the next day #on monday night #and i've had a migraine too bad to read since then and i'm SO mad - i desperately want to keep going. #(should i make this unrebloggable? idk probably but truly fuck this post) #*yes i do get that vibe from a lot of booktubers but this Isn't Helping
