Vincent was born into a very traditional, wealthy pack of wolves that lived in the Royal City. He was born the younger pup of twins, his older brother always one step ahead of him, but Vincent never once felt anything other than love and admiration for his older brother. They were both inseparable, Vincent clinging to his brother like a moth to light. They were known, their differences clear as day. Vincent the shy, gentle little pup and his brother the bold, adventurous one. When he was but a little boy, Vincent almost became the target of an assassination, but one that wasn’t aimed at him - precisely. His older sister, the Alpha of their pack, had ears everywhere and found out early enough to lay down a trap. The assassin was caught, but .. he was merely old enough to hold a blade, so Talia struck a deal with him.
This boy would become Vincent’s protector. And much more than that, too. He was always there, watching over him, listening to him - Vincent didn’t remember everything, but he remembered enough. At the age of 15, both twins fell in love with the same boy, a hunter boy, which brought them both into the Silvers’ line of sight. The Silvers and the Hales had been enemies for a while, a grudge lodged so deep within their very core, the sheer idea of their heirs mating with each other.. unthinkable. With their reputation at stake, the leaders of both groups came together after two were found fooling around together. The pack had known of Vincent’s infatuation for a while, so when it was said a wolf fled the silver boy’s bedroom - the blame instantly fell on Vincent.
Knowing that it wasn’t him, but could have only been the one person in the world looking exactly like him - Vincent took the fall. His older sister, the one leading the pack didn’t question it, they all knew Vincent was worth less than his brother. The decision made was final: Exile. The young wolf was not sent to his death alone, he was sent to live with a pack in the woods, nomads that never stayed long in any place. He grew up among them, presented as an omega shortly after he was sent away, but his broken heart never quite healed so he’s stayed alone. Due to living as one with nature, Vincent learned how to make salves and potions, how to treat wounds in cases of emergency and taking care of others. He’d always wanted to help, to heal, to support, so he found his role in the pack soon - more out of need than want, but he embraced it nonetheless.
24 years later.
He found out about Willowshire a little over a year ago from one of the tradesmen buying materials from the pack. He overheard some of them talking and decided to leave. One night, during guard duty swap, he ran. Weeks later, he finally made his way to the village and his skills as a healer were enough for him to be accepted into pack Springcrest. The pack he was born into was very traditional in its belief, the one he grew up with a lot more modern - everybody mattered and all that stuff people tell each other to feel better. Vincent himself prefers the traditional way, but doesn’t quite care what other people do.
All he wants is to find a place he feels like he belongs, some peace and maybe.. just maybe, love.
In New Haven
Vincent’s only concern after the jump was whether the man he loved and his brother had done the same jump or not, so when he found out that they did, everything fell into place. Vincent himself landed right outside the barrier, so he was one of the first to reach New Haven. He actually quite enjoys the modern perks, such as new ways to heal people.
Comfortable beds, hot showers. He’s really not unhappy about what happened, even if this new world is rather loud and complicated.

Words.
I am drowning in a sea of wasted words. Uttered by the unconscious dissidents of clarity. Speaking as if only to speak, To disquiet a quiet that they find disquieting, as they shout inferences of their deep discomfort.
They keep throwing their symbols into the air. A cacophony of clanging symbols. Symbols of symbols, sounds that shroud, and sound like a kitchen collapsing into chaos.
What wealth do they possess that they should be so ready to throw their words away?
I am unfamiliar with wealth. A man poor in his gifts, Naked and savage, with shallow lungs and light fists.
Search me and see; There are nothing but words holding this man together. I stitched them into the seams, I stitched them into my being, and in-between the spaces between the places in-between creases indivisible and unseen. Between the street light and the shadow. Between the horizon and the sun. Between the tea cup and the monsoon. Between the left and right side of your spine. Between the stone and the wave. Between the wolf and the sky. Between the dream and the page. Between our tongues and the tangle. Between my eyes and my hands. Between my thoughts and my thoughts of thoughts. Between the sheets and the smell of you. and in every dialogue between me and me.
These words are all I have, so tonight, I am taking these words back.
Let this be a reclamation proclamation that outlines the emancipation of language from those misusing it meaninglessly, and those meaning to misuse it as means of mis-educating the masses through false musings and forced monotony.
Let ‘music’ be ripped out of the machine. And given into the care of those that have learned to listen to the sound of silence. Those who know the songs sung in the gentle exhalations of breathing babies, Those who write lullabies by the rhythms of resting heart beats. Give it to those who only measure the measure of their meter and measure in inspiration, goose bumps, and the composition of waking dreams.
Let ‘scripture’ be freed from those who keep words in the decaying mouths of dead men in tombs and the dead mouths of living men robes. To be released into the custody of those who keep words in diaries and drunk texts, for it is they who know truth, and their words have been sanctified by their rampaging honesty.
Let “god” be reclaimed, from those that would proclaim holiness while lacking the wholeness to hold the mystery. And released into the hands of those that hold the wholeness of the wind, as it rushes through the trees, and walk upon the mysteries of untamed mud, carving new trails with their bare feet and unbridled desires.
Let 'love’ be freed from the profiteering of Hallmark and Hollywood. to be embraced by arms of those who dare not speak its name, but whose 'arms’ know. Let them hold it in their sweaty palms, nervous stutters and sinking stomachs. To those who know, that its marks are not stamped on the backs of cards, but on all the places they don’t go anymore, and all the things they don’t touch anymore, but can’t stand to throw away.
Let 'they, them and the other’ be seized from those who would use it to divide, separate and otherise. Whose -ists and -isms create schisms and otherism.
For there is only you and I. I am the you that gives form to you, and you are the I that gives form to me, just us, no other,
And we… we are one; taking turns pretending to be two
And we… We are the living breathing custodians of a living breathing language. Born twice, of flesh and blood, and purely articulated thoughts. Made of mostly empty space and solid intentions, wielding heavy words in light voices, in the face of those hard and hollow, that would loudly wield empty words against us.
And we demand these words be returned to our custody; The youngest sons of the first man who said ambition was like dreaming. The youngest daughters of the first woman who said loving was like falling. Who know that home is a fireless warmth and the chill of more deaths than winters.
That they being returned to our care will allow us to return to: killing our sleep to craft them, sleeping to dream them, and waking to share them, as we walk down a lifetime of pages lined with these words.

End of Year Wrap-Up 24/12/2018
Happy Merry to all you readers!
I’ve had a great year but all us music fans have had an even better one! Streaming services mean that now more than ever we can experience the musical output from all corners of the globe (though overwhelmingly the English-speaking parts of it) to understand different points of view, learn of the goings on in other parts of the world and most importantly indulge ourselves in a bit of a boogie. All the moods, genres and feels you could think of are out there, so over the holiday period perhaps try and listen to something new. Who knows it might break the tension with that younger/older relative round the xmas table when you find they also happen to like k-pop/jazz-funk/grindcore or at the very least you can bicker about the tragedy of the current album charts (Greatest Showman: 21 weeks!). To aid you in your quest for knowledge/excitement/small-talk I have spent almost 30 minutes curating a best-of for both albums and singles in the year of 2018.
(NB even with my album-a-day policy, there’s no way I can get through everything I want to within the 365, so if your fave appears ignored, let it be known that I probably haven’t heard it yet. The full list of everything I’ve listened to this year is at the bottom)

You should see the veritable empires you’ve created in your vortex. You should see the fantastic physicality. You might have to wait until you are born again to receive the benefit of it because you are kind of caught up in the way bodies are in this physical time space reality,  so you don’t allow yourself to expect the improvements that you could have today if you wanted them. You could have them today if you wanted them! It’s all queued up. Your cells will cooperate and give it to you if you could stop beating the drum of what is and release the vibrational patterns of what is. You could have it today! You could have it today! What we are saying to you is: Do 100% of your affirming from inside the Vortex ~ Abraham-Hicks ~

We think it's time for you to accept your vibrational nature, and learn the use the tool - the emotional guidance tool - that lets you tune yourself deliberately to the frequency  that allows  you to PERCEIVE the live that you want to live.
Most of all what we desire for you is the freedom that comes only when you gain CONTROL of you own vibration. ~ Abraham

Believing it or hoping it is certainly better than doubting it, but knowing it, knowing a belief, means you've practiced the thought of it and you own it, and it's your default position, it's where you go. It's what you know, it's who you are, it's what you radiate, and therefore it's what comes back to you, and therefore there is evidence all around you of your knowing of it. So really, being a deliberate creator is defining what it is that you would like to experience and then practicing the thought of what that's like until you know it. And the most wonderful thing that happens is that when you know it, of course you know it because it manifests all around you.
And that is, in fact, what holds so many people up, that what's manifested is easy to know because you can see it and hear it and smell it and taste it and touch it, so it's easier to know that you don't have enough money than it is to know that whatever you want will come easily to you because the evidence of not enough money has more of your attention. And the thing that we hear from so many of you - through your words, through the emails and letters that you write, and through your vibration - is that you mostly believe what you are seeing. So most are offering (and we understand why) a vibration in response to what you're witnessing, and we want to get you thinking about this in a different way, because the only reason that you or anyone is witnessing (seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting, touching) is because someone has given it enough attention that it became a manifested reality.
But there is so much reality along the way that you could be giving your attention to that you could change the outcome of the manifestation. You don't have to (and you don't want to) continue to regurgitate what you're witnessing. That's why we call it deliberate creation rather than accidental creation; deliberate creation rather than creating by default. So if you decide that there is something in your experience that you would like to be different than it is, different than it is in terms of the manifestation, you have to withdraw your attention from what is in order to leave some room for some change, because if you keep looking at it like it is, talking about it like it is, you continue to create what is.
Now, when we say what is, we're talking about what you think is, because we know that there is a whole lot that is vibrational that you're not witnessing with your seeing it and hearing it and smelling it and tasting it and touching it. Most humans don't want to acknowledge what is existing vibrationally, you only want to acknowledge what is existing manifestationally, and that's old news - that's like gum that you've chewed the flavor out of. That's past tense, really. When you say this is what is, we say that's old news because that vibrational ship has already sailed; it's already manifested. And it's full of things for you to witness in order to launch new intentions and new desires, and, and, and.

It's about the Blending of you in your physical body and the Blending of you in your non-physical beingness.
And the Blending, to the degree that you have summoned it, and more importantly, to the degree that you are Allowing what you have summoned = EQUALS the way you Feel. ~ Abraham

The personal comes and goes, the universal is always with you. The entire creation is your universal body. You are so blinded by what is personal, that you do not see the “Universal”(Infinite Inner Being or sky or energy sea). This blindness will not end by itself -- it must be undone skilfully and deliberately. When all illusions are understood and abandoned, you reach the error-free and perfect state in which all distinctions between the personal and the “Universal”(Infinite Inner Being or sky or energy sea) are no more. Your personal body is a part in which the whole is wonderfully reflected. But you have also a “Universal”(Infinite Inner Being or sky or energy sea) body. You cannot even say that you do not know it, because you see and experience it all the time. Only you call it 'the world' and are afraid of it. Sri Nisargadatta *** *** *** And Now you see yourself as what? As who? Infinite-Inner-Sky never identify with itself as any kind of “clouds”(thought; emotional; feeling; body-energy-form-style; mind-energy-form-style; dreamer-dream- energy-form-style)….! *** *** *** It is the ‘I am’ that investigates the ‘I am’ and on realizing its falsehood it disappears and merges into eternity. It is the absolute in you that takes you to the absolute beyond you - absolute truth, love, selflessness are the decisive factors in self-realization. With earnestness these can be reached. It is the person you imagine yourself to be that suffers, not you. Dissolve it in awareness. It is merely a bundle of memories and habits. From the awareness of the unreal to the awareness of your real nature there is a chasm which you will easily cross, once you have mastered the art of pure awareness. Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj
*** *** *** The person is merely the result of a misunderstanding. In reality, there is no such thing. Feelings, thoughts and actions race before the watcher in endless succession, leaving traces in the brain and creating an illusion of continuity. A reflection of the watcher in the mind creates the sense of 'I' and the person acquires an apparently independent existence. In reality there is no person, only the watcher identifying himself with the 'I' and the 'mine'. The teacher tells the watcher: you are not this, there is nothing of yours in this, except the little point of 'I am', which is the bridge between the watcher and his dream. ‘I am this, I am that' is dream, while pure 'I am' has the stamp of reality on it. You have tasted so many things -- all came to naught. Only the sense 'I am' persisted -- unchanged. Stay with the changeless among the changeful, until you are able to go beyond. Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj *** *** *** Via and thanks "Ben Drewry" *** *** *** Jai Shri Ram! ૐ
RAMA: Lord, how does the mind ever get tainted?
VASISTHA: It is a beautiful question, Rama, but this is not the proper time to ask: when you have listened to what I have to say, you will surely find the answer to this question with the utmost clarity. That the mind is impure is the experience of everyone who strives for liberation. Depending upon one’s particular point of view, everyone describes it differently.
Just as air coming into contact with different flowers takes on their scent, so mind entertaining different notions takes on those moods, creates bodies suitable to them and, as the energy activating the senses, enjoys the fruition of is own notions. It is the mind, again, that provides the fuel for the functioning of the organs of action. Mind is action and action is mind— the two are like the flower and its scent. The conviction of the mind determines the action and the action strengthens the conviction.
Mind is everywhere devoted to dharma, wealth, pleasure and freedom; but everyone has a different definition of these and is convinced that that definition is the truth.
Rama, bondage is none other than the notion of an object. This notion is Maya, ignorance, etc. It is the cataract that blinds one to the sun of truth. Ignorance raises a doubt; doubt perceives —- that perception is perverted. In darkness when one approaches even a lion’s empty cage, he is afraid. Even so, one ignorantly believes he is imprisoned in this empty body. The notions of ’I’ and ’the world’ are but shadows, not truth. Such notions alone create ’objects’: these objects are neither true nor false. Therefore Rama, abandon the notions of ’I’ and ’this’ and remain established in the truth.
It is only when the mind has become devoid of all attachment, when it is not swayed by the pairs of opposites, when it is not attracted by objects and when it is totally independent of all supports, that it is freed from the cage of delusion. When all doubt comes to rest and when there is neither elation nor depression, then the mind shines like the full moon.
When the impurities of the mind have ceased to be, there arise in the heart all the auspicious qualities, and there is equal vision everywhere. Even as darkness is dispelled by the rising sun, the world-illusion is dispelled when the sun of infinite consciousness arises in the heart. Such wisdom as is capable of gladdening the hearts of all beings in the universe, manifests and expands. In short, he who has known that which alone is worth knowing transcends all coming and going, birth and death. When there is absence of egoism there is no confusion in the mind, and that mind functions naturally. just as waves rise and fall in the ocean, the worlds arise and vanish: this deludes the ignorant but not the wise.
O Rama, he sees the truth who sees the body as a product of deluded understanding and as the fountain source of misfortune, and who knows that the body is not the self.
He sees the truth who sees that in this body pleasure and pain are experienced on account of the passage of time and the circumstances in which one is placed, and that they do not pertain to him.
He sees the truth who sees that he is the omnipresent infinite consciousness which encompasses within itself all that takes place everywhere at all times.
He sees the truth who knows that the self, which is as subtle as the millionth part of the tip of a hair divided a million times, pervades everything.
He sees the truth who sees that there is no division at all between the self and the other, and that the one infinite light of consciousness exists as the sole reality.
He sees the truth who sees that the non-dual consciousness which indwells all beings is omnipotent and omnipresent. He sees the truth who is not deluded into thinking that he is the body which is subject to illness, fear, agitation, old age and death.
He sees the truth who sees all things are strung in the self as beads are strung on a thread, and who knows 'I am not the mind’.
He sees the truth who sees all this is Brahman, neither 'I' nor ’the other".
He sees the truth who sees all beings in the three worlds as his own family, deserving of his sympathy and protection.
He sees the truth who knows that the self alone exists and that there is no substance in objectivity.
He is unaffected who knows that pleasure, pain, birth, death, etc., are all the self only.
He is firmly established in the truth who feels: "What should I acquire, what should I renounce, when all this is the one self?”
Salutations to the abode of auspiciousness who is filled with the supreme realization that the entire universe is truly Brahman alone, which remains unchanged during all the apparent creation, existence and dissolution of the universe.
Rama, he who treads the superior path, though he dwells in this body which functions as the potter's wheel does by past momentum, is untainted by the actions that might be performed. In his case, the body exists for his pleasure and for the liberation of his soul; he does not experience unhappiness in it.
To the ignorant, this body is the source of suffering, but to the enlightened man, this body is the source of infinite delight, and when its life-span comes to an end, he does not regard it as a loss at all. Since it transports him in this world in which he roams freely and delightfully, the body is regarded as a vehicle of wisdom. The body does not subject the wise man to the temptations of lust and greed, nor does it allow ignorance or fear to invade him. The embodied being comes lightly into contact with the body while it lasts but is untouched by .it once it is gone, even as air touches a pot which exists, but not one that does not exist.
The wise man who is rid of all doubts, in whom there is no image of self, reigns supreme in the body. Therefore one should abandon all cravings for pleasure and attain wisdom. Only the mind that has been well disciplined really experiences happiness. The captive king, when freed, is delighted with a piece of bread; the king who has not been subjected to captivity does not enjoy as much, even should it be the annexation of another kingdom. Hence, the wise man grinds his teeth and strives to conquer his mind and senses: such conquest is far greater than conquest of external foes.
O Rama, in the great empire known as dreadful hell, evil actions roam like mighty elephants in rut. The senses which are responsible for these actions are equipped with a formidable magazine of cravings. Hence, these senses are hard to conquer. These ungrateful senses destroy the body — their abode and support.
However, one who is equipped with wisdom is able to restrain craving without injuring the being, even as a noose restrains the elephant without harming its being. The bliss enjoyed by the wise man who has his senses under control is incomparably superior to the enjoyment of a king who rules over a city built with brick and mortar. The former's intelligence grows in clarity as his craving for sense-pleasure is worn out. However, the craving disappears completely only after the supreme truth has been seen.
To the wise, the mind is an obedient servant, good counselor, able commander of the senses, pleasing wife, protecting father and trustworthy friend. It impels him in good actions.
