Taichi talking about the ultra yoyos and how he trained so hard to master it only for the thing to stop being popular, and then how when he could show off to his troupe again but Banri picked it up in 5 mins and outshined him....
I think about it because Banri wasn’t exactly realizing he was “outshining” or “winning against Taichi”, he wasn’t in competition mode at this point, but it’s just what he does, he’s always good at what he picks up
so i think hearing Taichi clearly say how Banri made him feel unadequate was something and all
but anyway i’m thinking about it because i’m thinking about how in the New Year Event, when everyone participate to a “talent competition”, Banri ends up joining Taichi in a YoYo prestation where they ended up training together.
we don’t see anything doing on with that but i kinda wish we did? because Banri was aware then of how the fact he outshined Taichi affected him.
I want to know who first thought about the YoYo thing.. at which moment they decided to team up.
because i feel like it could have been Banri’s initiative to push Taichi’s talent forward. Because it is especially a Taichi thing and Taichi suffered from the fact no one wanted to see him do yoyo tricks once he learned later, and it’s giving him a room to show off again.
Besides once Banri seriously set himself in his role as a leader he also started to learn and be good at giving advices. (see how he helps Juza coordinate his action packed movement with his lines delivery). So he could both learn from Taichi while also prompting Taichi up.
idk i think about this a lot and it makes me so sad it’s not touched upon in the event in question because seeing them team up on something we know Banri made Taichi feel unadequate about, knowing how Banri has evolved, really makes it feel like Banri is trying to push Taichi back on the spotlight with the stuff he feels comfortable with and it makes me soft....
#gnhh head full#I just. love it.....#like there's at least 3 people i think that can make Taichi especially feel 'outclassed' in some way#explicitly he says Tenma and Banri in his portrait - implicitly - Tasuku since he was the lead actor of the God Troupe#and as far as EN server goes i think that ^this is how he makes peace with Banri#then we have the Halloween event and how Tasuku prompts Taichi up the whole time which is so precious to me#Tasuku is SO GOOD i won't shut up about it when i'll reach my reread of this event#Tasuku is so good!! so so good!!!#anyway point is#that then i know there's incoming a Taichi centric play where Tenma plays the antagonist#so i think that's where this closure will come in time#(esp since it's about Taichi playing a guy who can't see himself as good enough while Tenma plays a Pro)#but YEAH i just really wish this bounding moment with Banri had some spotlight!! i wanted to see it :(((((#guess i can just feed on the Halloween event again smh#ALSOOO speaking of Taichi and Tasuku. The Blooming Live. Good lord. That was SO GOOD.#like it starts with Tsumugi on stage singing his character song and then pointing in the crowd#and you see Tasuku's vA on his plateform far from the stage in the crowd which shows he's 'giving up the spotlight'#especially bc he's giving it to Tsumu (ruined by the god troupe and all)#and you see him smile because he's happier that way#and he sings his song and then he points to the stage again with a huge smile - again he's offering his spotlight....#to Taichi's va for him to sing Living the Dream#it lives it my mind rentfree. I can still picture Tasuku's VA's smile doing so#and it makes me so happyyyy for Taichi to see that the people around him saw they made him feel unadequate#and they all went 'okay. we're gonna lift you up then'#and im GNHHH#aNYWAYYY#ichablogging a3
