isabella had been glued to her phone since her album had come out having had to reschedule her release party she couldn’t take her eyes off any kind of social media even now as she sat with serenity still trying to avoid going home until she knew all the lights would be turned out and her mother no where in sight. “on a scale of one to ten how stupid would it be to just go party and hook up with a stranger? or is that too much of me?” she questioned not really paying attention to the words coming out of her own mouth, “or like i know you dislike him but like letting chad corrupt me until i can stop thinking about how crappy this year is already.”

Gia had managed to lose her sister at some point, sure that the other went off with her own group of friends, and she still had some time before she had to meet anyone else, so she figured she might as well see what else she could get up to. There was a cliche ferris wheel sat in the middle of the festivities and while it's definitely questionable as far as safety goes, Gia is willing to take her chances. "Felix!" She called his name over the buzz of the crowd around them, catching up the familiar face in a few quick steps. Her head tilts towards the potential death trap of a ride, "Come on, don't make me ride alone. There'll be a funnel cake the size of your head in it for you at the end of it."

a quick trip to grab coffee before she headed to the grocery store was what she was supposed to do. what didn’t happen was she didn’t make it five minutes out of the coffee shop before she ran right into the other causing her to drop her coffee and a whine escape her. looking down at the now spilled cup on the floor she pouted before she blew out a breath, “i’m so sorry and i promise i’ll pay for anything that i ruined.” she started to say before she looked up and saw chad and she gave a small sheepish smile, “oh hey,” she said with a small wave, “i was being serious i’ll pay for anything that my coffee got on you if it’s ruined. i didn’t see you.”

Coming back from lunch was never supposed to be easy in this place. Or so Avery thought as she came back in with her coffee and took in the packed locale and one of the girls gesturing for her to re-check her schedule. Of course she had gotten bookings while out.. No peace or rest for the wicked. Stepping over to the computer, she took in the names on the list. Naturally, the one with her own last name on it made the girl frown. "Tilly, did you put in the wrong info? Says I have an appointment with myself in five minutes." she prompted her co worker, who chuckled in response. "No silly. Your sister specifically asked for you." she said, making Avery's already non too colorful face ashen further. "You... oh shit." she bit back the urge to yell at the other. She had no desire what so ever to see her sister, much less at work where she couldn't possibly loose her temper and had to make sure no one else was listening in. What the fuck did Aubrey want anyway?

Muttering profanities under her breath, Avery went to double check that her station was clean and set up right before taking a seat in her chair, closing her eyes for a minute and trying to take some deep breaths. Her attempt at serenity was quickly squandered when the bell over the door rang and the redhead in question walked in. Getting back up and walking over, Avery decided to try and nip this in the bud. "You don't need your nails fixed Aubrey. Do me a favor and walk back out. Now."

Being back in town after a business trip sometimes felt like a semi reunion to Leo. He loved to travel and he had long since accepted that being CEO meant more actual work than play for him. But being away always reminded him why he loved East Haven so much. The tranquility of the smaller town. The familiarity he had with a lot of the towns people or the natives, but also the owners of the different establishments. Of course, what he always missed the most when he was away was his friends. Most of all perhaps Lenny. She was one of a kind, and he wished that there was more time in a week for them to spend time together.

Taking a seat on the park bench, he handed her the coffee he had gotten for her on the way over, giving her a wistful smile. "Are you sure we'll survive an outdoor lunch today in this weather?" he asked just a smidge teasingly. "I'll happily go to any lunch place you want if you have second thoughts."

it was one of those days that he found himself walking down the beach clearing his mind and getting his thoughts straight. it felt as though for once everything around him was silent and he could finally think but then he heard footsteps coming toward him and he sheepishly looked up to see chad and then it was like it hit him that it had seemed that he was avoiding the male, “hey isn’t it too early for you to wonder on the beach?” he asked raising a brow almost teasingly.

Sky isn't Rowan's first choice for Wes, but she is also very aware that he could do worse. And honestly, Sky could do better. Rowan's patience with her pseudo-brother and his on-again-off-again, cluster fuck of a relationship had come to an end years ago. She loves Wes and is always going to choose him at the end of the day, but he has been on the receiving end of more than one verbal lashing when it comes to Sky and what a colossal fucking idiot he is. Especially after Diego had come around, who Rowan adores just like she does any of her other nephews — or more realistically, more than she does AJ these days, and it's not out of character for her to take it upon herself to spoil the little boy. This would be one of those times, Rowan having brought by a box of things for Diego on her way home from the hospital. "How's he doing?" She asks, glancing up at Sky. "After everything at the club house."

it had been one of the more nicer days unlike their more frigid winter days where walking around her yard was better, today she decided her and tink would take a walk on the beach clear her head and get out of the still decorated house. they were just making their way back off the beach when tink broke free from her grasp on the leash and sprinted down the sidewalk causing athena to yell after the pup, “tink no!” she called as she ran behind the dog catching up just in time to reach the leash as the puppy was craving the attention from another, “i’m so sorry about her she really does have a mind of her own when we do walks.” she apologized as she catches her breath

Volunteering at the pride table for the festival is a tradition for Gia. She'd been doing it ever since her first summer in Nashville, and that wasn't going to change any time soon. The only exception had been last year, and only because she'd been out of town on her tour so she's eager to get back into it this year. "Hey, do you have any pins left?" She calls over, crossing the tent to Sky. "A group of kids just cleaned me right out. Which is great, but considering it's like.... noon, maybe not so much."
