Moonlit is now five months old, but a proper introduction still feels appropriate! Here’s a little bit about us…

.☽༊˚ Semi-AU idol-verse with full AU options! We don’t like to be limited to the general category. Members are welcome to follow their face claim’s reality as closely as they wish, but also are encouraged to take creative freedom, have their own flair and form their own life. We also offer an alternate universe space where members are unrestricted, and can write and world-build as they please. ❅ 20+, all Korean entertainment face claims One of our initial goals in creating this community was to make a place for adults that isn’t only smut-oriented. This is to avoid the hiccups that come with teens and adults mingling in one space, but also to let adults feel like they can be themselves comfortably. .☽༊˚ Semi-lit to literate! The level of literacy is dependent upon member preference. We have spaces for writing, but no requirements - minimum word counts on posts, required writing for activity checks, etc. Another goal of ours was to make a place with neither demands nor limitations when it comes to writing. Members are free to express themselves with as few or many words as they see fit! ❅ Variety of events, games, and activity Moonlit hosts events, provides prompts for posts and writing, offers a space for games which is regularly used, and encourages members to interact how they are comfortable. Whether that is communicating in group chats or DMs, hosting streams, sharing quizzes and other activities, Moonlit is constantly alight with its diverse community of members. .☽༊˚ Limited, not limiting, activity requirements There is a weekly activity check performed at Moonlit. However, it is kept simple for convenience, and admins are also quite lenient. If you miss it, we will nudge you about it. Members are removed only if they don’t respond after that (which is rare). Additionally, we hold no strike system. Another goal when we set out was to create a comfortable environment, not a suffocating, work-like atmosphere. Roleplaying should be a fun hobby, not a chore. The admins try to be understanding of members, and also offer hiatuses freely up to two weeks a month, no questions asked.

All in all, we hope to maintain our peaceful, playful, and pleasant vibe with our lovely members, and welcome those looking for a community to call home. Whether you’re looking for somewhere to relax, have fun, or both, Moonlit may be the home for you.

Six months ago, Moonlit opened its doors as a group of wandering but hopeful stars looking for a place in the universe.
