in helo's modern verse, his father is alive and is in prison for drug dealing. helo would visit him every week, like clockwork, to the point where even the employees started to know who helo is by name. but lee started to hate that helo was spending so much time visiting him in prison when he should be living his life. helo hadn't told him that the suppliers came for helo, and now he was in the game too.

so one day, lee decided to take helo off of his visitation list so that helo couldn't visit him anymore. he didn't find this out until he came to visit his dad, and then the employees were acting wary before having to tell him that he couldn't see his father. it was an act of betrayal for helo, another parent abandoning him and leaving him behind. ever since, helo never talked to his father again, not so much of a phone call.
