🔫 Part of him wanted to look away - keep watch in every direction. There were others out here. This person had stopped him, but that was, so far, all he’d done. Coming out here hadn’t been a mistake until now, and he’d intended to separate the Saviors out here and pick them off one by one. It didn’t seem like they’d caught on to that, but he couldn’t take the chance. The only thing he could do was play this off as safely as possible despite how… potentially difficult that might have been considering how far out he was and the fact that some of them may have known he’d been to the Sanctuary before in some… capacity.

“Like what? Like an enemy? Because you are.” Unfortunately he couldn’t use the excuse that they were too close to Alexandria off “business”. This was a half baked plan and it wasn’t until now that he realized it. Could he use the excuse of being out here to train because of his eye? He didn’t know how well that would go over considering the distance between himself and the town. Typically, and as it would make sense, he would be just outside the walls or a bit further for that. Did… Did scavenging work? It was difficult to think about when he knew a handful of a group was this close. Too far from Alexandria and not close enough to the Sanctuary… What else could he use? “I’m serious. Back up so I don’t have to hurt you or worse. Or did you get permission to jump us on the road, too?”
