Nick responded with a blank stare and a few blinks as he attempted to slink off to patch up his wounds (or rather, pluck out the needles) on his own. Vash managed to get the drop on him, somehow, causing him to fall face first into more needled-plants. Ironic.

He'll have to work on covering his tracks in this new kind of terrain. This world was strange—full of flora and green and... trees...

Plenty of places to sneak off and hide from a certain nosy party of wanderers who would just get worried about him... Or make fun of him for getting covered in needles from flora of all things.

"Fuck, who thought putting needles on flora was a good idea?"

The blond helps him up, careful not to bury the nettles further into his skin, and leads him to a small clearing. Wolfwood brushes his pants off before sitting on the soft patch of grass below them.

"I know you're just gonna tell me that I don't have to fix this all on my own, and that I'm being stubborn and I should just go apologize, or whatever..."

He gets started on plucking the needles from his skin, "But before you preach at me about that, maybe help patch this up instead before I lose my mind."
