I’m still wondering what Valentino could’ve meant when he said "someone who owes us much more than money"…
Did Alastor just destroy their reputation by not joining them? Or did they have to deal with Vox’s broken heart, to the point where he was unbearable to be around for a long time? Or some mysterious, third option, where Alastor used their help and still has a debt to pay? Or all of the above??
I feel like Alastor never appearing anywhere near Valentino has some potential for extra depth in their backstory, aside from the usual "he just finds Val disgusting". Maybe he blames Val for having bad influence on Vox, until he spoils him completely and brings out the side of him that Alastor won’t tolerate anymore. Meanwhile, Vox finds Val’s company refreshing, but fails to notice how his friendship with Alastor starts to fall apart.
honestly I do not think velvette is the annoyed 3rd wheel of the vees. she fuckin loves it when those old men kiss. she poses and takes selfies when they start sloppily making out. come on
Human StaticMoth au where Vox is one of those guys who are on Grindr despite insisting that he’s not gay in any way.
He’s got a profile photo that’s just his shirtless torso with his face cropped out because he definitely has a wife and even though he’s totally not actually gonna sleep with anyone, he doesn’t exactly want his face on such a scandalous app.
He actually ends up messaging Val first, despite insisting that he’s like not interested in That way. Val’s interested and amused and fucks with him by saying shit like “it’s not gay if you’re the one on top” and Vox like squints at him because that doesn’t sound right but he doesn’t know enough about homosexuality to dispute it.
They eventually end up meeting up and despite Vox’s insistence that they are not hooking up, they hook up.
Vox swears that it will be a one-time thing but then he does it again, and again. Each time he acts like it’s the last time and Valentino honestly finds his denial kind of cute in a pathetic repressed old man kind of way.
I absolutely love how this shot made it look like there are hearts above Vox. It even has a little Vox symbol with a little heart next to it to really drive the point home, lol
