Today I’m 21. It used to be unimaginable being the same age as Elsa but here I am. Frozen is my childhood and lately whenever I hear let it go I’m filled with so much nostalgia. It’s so much more relevant to my life now verses when I was a kid, which makes me bittersweet because I’m growing up. This year I’m allowing myself to be stretched beyond what I’m used to, so I’m going into the unknown and maybe soon I’ll have my show yourself moment. Sometimes the most uncomfortable things we have to do are the things that’ll grow us into what we were made to be. I still struggle with self hatred, but I’m really starting to like the person I’m becoming. Here’s to new beginnings.

i truly think that he was one of the most fascinating people on earth. a lot of people see the icon, the name, the idea and being able to see past all of that and learn about the amazing person behind all of the image is a great joy and privilege for me. i saw something a little while ago that said, he wasn’t perfect but he was perfectly elvis. he was so beautifully himself. he was also in every way so authentically human. a true example of a gorgeous, kind, passionate soul who shined so brightly and still continues to shine from heaven.
