@yellowcrowsss​ was kind enough to give me the stills for two frames from zir Zuko&Azula animatic that has been living rent-free in my head since it was released. Seriously, if you haven’t seen it yet, watch it. 

I had a blast lining and coloring these! It has been ages since I did anything with proper digital painting, and I’m really happy with how these came out <3

Thinking about a canon divergent AU where instead of hunting for the Avatar, Zuko and Iroh settle in Ba Sing Se after Zuko’s banishment. They build a new life there… until one day the Fire Nation attacks, and they’re forced to flee again.

With nowhere else to go, they arrive in the Southern Water Tribe as refugees to appeal to the chief for asylum.
