I realized today that I was really genuinely imagining my future.

I like to pretend #I like to imagine a world where i live alone but i know one day ill kill myself in my childhood bedroom. #But today I was watching Tiktoks of this woman who bakes with her little recipe cards #who's prepping her freezer for Post Partum #and then i looked at Recipe Cards on Etsy so i could start collecting my own #so when I move out I'll have the recipes i like without having to come back #and i was thinking about how I should still make Apple Crisp for my kids even though I don't really like it #thinking about how I'll have to make food i don't like because I'm too picky #Too many basic foods would be foreign to them if I didn't. #Do you understand? #I thought about living #I thought so genuinely about having a life and having kids and being alive #jamie shut the fuck up #personal blog #just vibing #rambling

I'm going to BC tomorrow and I still haven't packed but I'm currently getting up to maybe start and I one thing I knew I wanted to bring (though it's kind of a waste of space) is my smallest stuffed orca, Mike. Like all of my orcas he's named after a real orca, specifically he's named after a member of the J-pod, and he's always attached to the tail of my stuffed bottlenose dolphin, Fungie (Named after Fungie the Dingle Dolphin). So I see Fungie, I grab him to get Mike, and Mike is GONE?

Why does this matter? Please imagine walking by your adult daughter's bedroom and just hearing "Fungie what did you do with Mike? Where's Mike?" Over and over again.

#Bonus points- my brother is named Mike #Anyway still haven't found him but I did find another small stuffed orca so if worst comes to worst I have a backup #I forgot about this one #I want to say she doesn't have a name but I vaguely remember calling her Toki'tae so I think she's Toki'tae #That would be kind of cute- bringing her home #Anyway I'm going to go back to looking for Mike and maybe actually packing #jamie shut the fuck up #personal blog #just vibing #rambling
