Some random Eugenides headcanons of mine:

he has really pretty, thick eyelashes

he sharpens his hook regularly because he feels so cool and the sound is very satisfying, he’ll sharpen it while doing random tasks or sitting in “really important king meetings or whatever they’re called” and the sound drives teleus absolutely mad (which only encourages him)

he sneaks into Attolia’s bed chambers regularly, sometimes to watch her sleep, other times just for the satisfaction of, well, sneaking into Her Majesty’s bed chambers because once a thief, always a thief (she looks reeeeally pretty when she sleeps)

he practices his facial expressions in the mirror specifically smirks

he puts way too much just enough olive oil on everything

whenever he has to ride a horse he pretends it’s an elephant

he and sophos have deep philosophical conversations because they’re absolute besties

when he doesn’t want to deal with his night terrors he’ll sneak off to the roof and watch the sunrise

he gets lost in the palace in the daylight, sure, but at night he needs nothing but his “thiefly” instincts to guide him

he gives himself mental high-fives whenever he does anything extra spiteful or clever

he loves just watching Attolia at any given moment and whenever she catches him staring he’ll either wink or smirk oftentimes both

he’s really good at drawing

he offers “high-fives” with his hook to people at random, especially the people who piss him off the most :))

he hums/whistles whenever he’s doing quite literally anything

One of my favourite moments in the entire series is when Eugenides and Attolia are locked in a room together while about a third of the palace are hovering apprehensively outside the closed doors wondering who will come out alive but Attolia was just Stroking His Hair.
