It has been 7 days since my first intake of serious mass. I haven’t gained any weight, if anything I lost a pound. It took about 1-2 days after for my appetite to kick back in. I’m more hungrier now throughout the day. I used to eat 3 meals a day, now it has become noon and then for dinner, and finally we’re back on the regular schedule! Waiting for my appetite to kick in is always the worst. But I’m happy my stomach has opened back up and ready to eat. 🥴

Whenever I am having a hard time picking my weight back up, I start my protein shakes again.
I used to take this for months a few years back (possibly over 4 years) and my weight gain was beautiful. I reached 108lb and I was just stuck there because I wanted to intake calories naturally from that day forth. My weight stuck, but family members were passing away, and so you know how that goes. I never picked the protein shake back up because my last bag had a whole in it overtime from continuous opening and closing and I honestly just didn’t have the energy to care about containing it properly. They’ve finally upgraded to a big ‘ol jar, thank lord. It’s still messy af tho. I am an acne prone person, and I do remember people stating that this breaks them out but what protein shake doesn’t! I’m at a point in life where my face has cleared up but my scars remain so it shouldn’t be hard to tell this time around.
I will be starting the first three days taking one scoop servings after breakfast. You’re supposed to take two scoops per serving but I like to start slow. I’m also lactose intolerant and I take this with milk so I don’t want to explode for the next week. Instead of 1,250 calories with water (two scoops), it’s 1,640 calories. 🥳

This is usually what my weight looks like when I’m at my lowest; content weight looks like 105, and I can’t seem to get myself to eat enough to get past 108lb, but that was a couple of years ago.
After Day 1 of starting my weight gain journey. I was 100.06lb yesterday so this is probably water weight.

Hi, I’m temporarily disabled, or so I’d like to believe so for the sake of my sanity. I was in a car accident a couple of years ago; 7 more days marks the anniversary. They say when you brace yourself during a car accident, the impact is more severe. Well thanks for the life tip. 🤦🏻‍♀️
Going from an extremely active person my whole life from lifestyle to work-life straight to a potato. I literally lay in bed all day. That’s all I can do without causing pain. I had to quit my full-time job as a Commercial Manager at an Auto parts store, then I picked up a food delivery job but getting in and out of the car was becoming too much, and who knew how heavy 2 pizza boxes were! I mean, I can’t even lift 2lb without straining myself anymore so there’s that. Now I’ve officially quit my other part-time job on last Tuesday. I worked the service department at a dealership for 1 year and 8 months and the pain was ridiculously inevitable as more weeks passed even by just sitting in my office chair. I don’t know how office workers do it, it is definitely not a way of living! I told myself NO OFFICE JOBS, ever, and look what this situation put me in and it’s still not helpful. One of my specialists told me I had nothing to worry about on my MRI images, and another specialist told me I have damage to L-4; I’m just at a loss for words. Is the doctor trying to keep me hopeful? I spent 6 months seeing over 5 different doctors from emergency care to primary cares, and the past couple years seeing multiple physical therapists. Nothing is helping in the end and I’ve never felt so completely hopeless and useless. Life has not been that great; except the fact that I’m back in school for an Accounting degree. I should graduate Spring 2022 if I stick to my game plan, if not, Summer 2022 isn’t too far away. So there’s an upside, I guess. 🎉
