I absolutely love this direct parallel. Thundercracker is always such an interesting character when he's portrayed like this - he's loyal to the Decepticon cause, but not interested in wanton destruction and death the way many other Decepticons are. He pities small weak things and finds no entertainment or honour in killing them unless he absolutely has to.

It's going to be fun seeing how his reluctance to kill for the crime of being small affects his relationships with some of the most brutal Decepticons we've seen.

Frag the Autobots while you're at it! You never wanted a part in this war and they dragged you into it. Frag Optimus Prime! You may owe him for saving your stupid, raggedy space shuttle from exploding on the Earth's surface, but that doesn't mean you have to be happy about it.

Soundwave stares down at you with unmoving visor, eyes like a retroraptor. Unseen optics caught on your factionless chestplate. You suddenly feel very small. It's not a new feeling. Even among the tiniest of the Autobot minis you stand out as smaller than small. You won't be cowed by this monstrosity of a mech!

"Frag you, Decepticreep!" The words are barely out of your mouth before you're being scooped up in two giant arms. Why do all mechs have to be so stupidly big? You squawk at Optimus for aid, but the Autobots have barely started moving upon your position before Soundwave calls his lackies into the fray.

"Frenzy, Rumble, Operation: New Cassette," Wait, what the hell is that supposed to mean?! Soundwave is taking off before you can think to punch him in his stupid, smug face, Megatron hollering a loud "Decepticons Retreat!"
