This is interesting to me because she tweeted this when she published ACOTAR and in an interview she confirmed that ACOMAF was already written when book 1 was published. Meaning high chances already she knew who Lucien's mate when she wrote this Lol.
Let's wait and see ✨✨✨

Can we talk about how Rowan had to be restrained so he wouldn’t run into deadly darkness after Aelin and this was before he’d figured out he was in love with her

Gwyn's theoretical luring powers is used to absolve Azriel of any accountability for his actions (ala Necklacegate) because it's not a good look on him—so it's better to pin it on someone else by saying he was lured against his will so Elain can easily forgive him for regifting the necklace, and to explain away why he smiled imagining Gwyn's joy and burying the image of her joy in his chest after Clotho thanked him for it.
You cannot convince me any luring powers is for Gwyn's benefit and character development as much as it's a plot device to excuse Azriel's actions in the bonus chapter.
For a character that said she joined training so she makes sure she is never put in a powerless position ever again, some in the fandom sure love to place her in a powerless position either by knowingly or unknowingly using her "luring" powers or being controlled by Koschei or "evil" Merrill.

“How could you not know?" His voice was full of wonderment. "You changed me utterly. You were like a...like a bright, wonderful bloom in a garden full of weeds. Like a graceful capital on a page of plain script, a letter decorated with the deepest, finest colors in all Erin. Like a flame, Caitrin. Like a song.”
