It’s actually insane how some of you justify your antisemitism. And yes, this time I’m specifically talking about being anti-Israel.

When Israel is attacked by Hamas, it’s their fault for retaliating. When is Israel is attacked by Iran, it’s ok because it’s retaliation. When Israel calls out the UN for being unhelpful, they’re getting what they deserve. When Israel asks the UN to step up, it’s a sad cry for help.

It is no coincidence that Israel can’t do anything right and that it houses 7 million Jewish refugees. It’s the oldest excuse in the book. “It’s just the zionists!” Israeli children are children, too. They have no better of a concept of Zionism than you, and yours is scarce. I really appreciate your "what Biden did" series and wanted to say that I think it deserves to reach off-Tumblr people, maybe through Suvstack or Medium 🧡. Seriously, if everyone had access to it I think it would change/increase votes.

Thanks, I mean part of why I do it is Tumblr is kinda a forgotten social media site? there's an official Biden campaign on twitter, insta, YouTube, god help us even TikTok, but as far as I know not Tumblr.

and I get it Tumblr is small relative to say TikTok, but the result is overwhelming misinformation and intense doomerism and over all radicalization of people

this is my little internet home the webpage that works the best for me to express myself the way I want to, the ability to post long form information, do media, reblog from others etc

So I don't want to just give up and let it be flooded with bullshit that if it effects how people vote will make the real world a worse place to live. So this is my little effort to do counter programing and point out that the Biden Presidency has been a big transformative progressive Presidency, that we're getting done the biggest big government things since LBJ.

The Jedi Order mainly being an institution about teaching makes me sad that we never see more "Jedi classes" outside of the popular ones like martial arts, healthcare and Force wackery.

Alongside basic language and science education etc there have to be at least some trade and college courses on offer, right? The Jedi need a bunch of their own people with law degrees. Proper pedagogy studies for future crèchemasters. Cooks. Managers. All types of engineers. Electricians. Accountants. Researchers. How many Jedi hold a doctorate or professorate? Because I think a large number of them do. Their databanks are filled with millennia of dissertations. You can still find Yoda's articles from 500 years ago and cite them in your history research paper.

I wish cis people understood just how...draining it is to be transgender. Like even if nothing bad happens to you specifically there's this constant hate surrounding trans people like background radiation but it's not harmless, it's a perpetual drain on your emotions, your will, your happiness.

Even if you take all the steps to distance yourself from the hate, like curating your online presence, you still see it, hear it. It's completely unavoidable.

When you are enemy #1 for major political parties it's hard not to notice, especially when you have almost no political power yourself and, my god, I can't even imagine what trans kids are dealing with. It's so much more difficult for them.

I wish I had some kind of answer but in the end it isn't up to me or any other trans person. We don't have the numbers to change hearts and minds.

I don't want it to sound like I regret anything because as bad as things are, I promise you, pretending to be something you're not is even more of a drain on your emotions and will to go on. I just wish it was easier to just...exist without people demanding I justify my existence to them.

It was 13 or 14 years ago. From what I remember you just shouldered aside the mastodons, went into the Tumblr cave and carved your mark on the wall, telling people you were now signed up for tumblr, and then they would haul memes on animal hides past you. Back then it was mostly cats doing amusing things, obviously, but we would watch them by the flickering firelight, and chortle to ourselves hopefully before leaving the cave and trudging back to our lives.

The number of homicides in major American cities is falling at its quickest pace in decades following huge jumps during the pandemic. Why it matters: The nation is on track to see one of the lowest levels of violent crimes and homicides since President Obama was in office. Polls show crime is a top concern ahead of the 2024 election — and it's an issue where Republicans regularly edge Democrats. But falling homicide rates could take the steam out of the crucial GOP advantage. By the numbers: Murders declined by nearly 20% in 204 cities during the first three months of 2024 compared to the same period last year, according to AH Datalytics, a criminal justice consulting firm. At this pace, the murder rate in the U.S. could match its level in 2014 when many cities saw 30-year lows in violent crime and homicides. The big decline in homicides, as calculated by AH Datalytics, was first reported by the Wall Street Journal. Zoom in: Boston has seen a massive 82% drop in homicides so far, the most of any major city in the analysis. Philadelphia currently is experiencing a 37% decline in murders and Miami is seeing a 33% fall. Houston, where crime was an issue in last year's mayoral election, is facing a 25% drop in homicides thus far. Reality check: Los Angeles and Atlanta saw noticeable jumps in homicides in the first three months of 2024 compared to last year. The intrigue: Democrats are also seeing signs that they are closing the gap with the GOP among voters who say which party is better at fighting crime. An Axios-Ipsos Latino Poll conducted in partnership with Noticias Telemundo and released this month found that Republicans had only a 4-point edge on which party was better at dealing with crime. I attended a seminar today on building community resilience to radicalization to violence. The lecture was really informative and covered a wide spectrum of different types of extremism, including political, gender motivated, racial, etc. I don't feel the need to share all of the information here, because the focus was primarily on radicalization in my state specifically, but I did want to share this specific part on identifying indicators that someone is on the path to, if not fully, radicalized:

- You directly undermined U.S. aid to Ukraine and publicly called for "killing" a long-belated aid at the U.S. Congress despite Ukraine running critically low on air defense and munitions because you and your arrogant yes-men had decided that "Putin just can't lose"

And when the situation deteriorates, particularly due to months-long delays in the most essential and urgent defense aid, this shameless douche says "I did predict it" (while again completely ignoring the fact that POLITICO makes it perfectly clear that Ukraine is 'heading for defeat' due to the West's failure to send weapons to Kyiv).

No, Elmo, you did not 'predict' anything.

You precipitated this.

This war started with Ukrainians praising you as the free world's techno hero and naming streets after you.

Now you have degraded yourself to being one of Russia's key useful idiots amid the most terrible and the largest European war of aggression since Adolf Hitler.

We in Ukriane have seen our share of smartasses giving us between 48 and 72 hours two years ago.
