Man, long time no see! The general interaction around this account has kind of petered out so I just want to say that while this blog will remain up as an “archive” of sorts, I’m setting my mind on no longer updating it (not that I have recently anyways). In my mind and for me personally, social media creates an obligation. I’ll continue to post when the inspiration strikes me, and I’ll hopefully get to finishing all of my requests/clearing out my inbox, but I’ll likely be less consistently active than I already am

You know what could be cool , having a blog on here that’s like for your dr self. So you would post things that might happen in your dr and you would design it to fit your dr self’s aesthetic.

For example - My dr self might might post “Omg I’m literally dreading potions with snape today”. (This is cringy but you get the idea)

It might help with connecting to your dr.

Hiya! Congratulations on 200 followers! I was wondering if you could do a pairing (whatever kind of relationship is fine) for my DR self? He has long-ish grey hair with black streaks (he keeps it out of his face with a ponytail most of the time), grey-blue eyes and pale skin. He’s really shy and quiet most of the time, but he’s really a sweetheart. His zodiac is Capricorn, and his MBTI is INFP. He likes gardening, baking, and feeding birds :)

Luke Skywalker (Star Wars [original trilogy], platonic/undefined) and Bucky Barnes (MCU, mostly platonic)! I’ll try to keep everything straightforward incase you or someone else hasn’t seen Star Wars/MCU films but I’d recommend them both! (My 200 follower celebration/pairing requests are now closed)

Luke Skywalker:

I feel like both your DRself and Luke can be somewhat quiet and reserved but also be passionate about things they enjoy!

Your DRself (can I say you?) is very in touch with nature through gardening and feeding birds, so he’s connected to almost an external power, like the Force!

To be honest, while Luke is an excellent Jedi, he’s not always super handy with practical skills like cooking/baking and gardening, so you (your DRself) helps/teaches him!

Definitely a lot of inside jokes to the point where other people think you (your DRself) and Luke are speaking a different language

Luke doesn’t really have neighbors, and those who do live in any proximity to him are far and wide, but you bake a lot of things and the two of you often take a couple of days to travel around and bring baked goods to the neighboring people as a sign of good will

Overall, you have a very kind, happy, and mutually enjoyable relationship

Bucky Barnes:

It’s hard for him to find peace between his internal and external struggles alike, so being around you (your DRself) becomes relaxing to him after he realizes that you’re very peaceful and nonjudgmental

He often offers to help you feed the birds and they like to sit on his metal arm lol

Whenever you bake something, he eats it as soon as he’s back from a mission and it reminds him of what his mom used to bake in the 40s

In fact, you one day offer to help him find any living relatives, and sure enough, he has relatives through his sister

Although you feel a bit too shy to meet them with him, he brings photos to you and you give him baked goods to bring them which makes him overwhelmingly happy and grateful, and from that day out he always offers to help you with anything that you need

Bucky is much taller than you (your DRself) so he jokes around about it lightheartedly all the time but never in a way that would bother you

Often times, he helps you garden (around the Avengers compound) and you get Wanda’s help to grow plants a little faster no those aren’t her canon powers nor does this alliance or overlap exist in the canon timeline but it’s ok LMAO

if you grow fruit/vegetables/food you can bake with it! Bucky offers to help but stuff gets stuck in his metal arm a lot and after someone snaps a fridge magnet onto his arm while he’s in the kitchen he prefers to serve as a taste tester

Overall, you have a sensitive, caring, boundary respecting and kind relationship that nobody gets in the way of!

Is there an appropriate age range to be friends/otherwise with this man? Because he’s like 100 something but I’m just gonna ignore that for a second

When he first meets you at work, he finds your optimism secretly very refreshing and is glad to be partnered up with you for missions

He’s a pretty guarded person you keep it mostly professional and to yourselves when working but slowly start to open up to one another and become friends little by little and gain inside jokes, stories, etc.

You’re a really great artist and get in practice by sketching people around the compound/tower; Bucky complements your work a lot and you offer to sketch him one day

He’s really flustered because you ask him to sit still so you can draw him and he keeps asking if he’s doing it right

Both of you are in a crappy motel room one night in the middle of a mission and he wakes up startled from a nightmare; you get him to talk to you about it which ends up helping him and over time you bond more and more

Flash forward: he’s classically romantic (he’s from the 40s, after all) and always brings you flowers, does little things like hold the door and give you his jacket and such

Overall you have a very strong and mutually respectful, understanding and eventually more vulnerable relationship

About the Shiftblr PSA

This morning a few people messaged me about this PSA. One was asking who it was so that they could avoid them because they were scared. The second was the other victim in this situation, @draco-malfoys-wine-aunt, wanting to know if we should make a post or not. The third was one of my friends who I had confided in, and who told @shifting-inspos and encouraged them to make the post. In this third message was her letting me know that this person had messaged her again, after she had told her not to contact her again the day prior. In this message she called her a snake and among other nasty things.

Before I come forward and let you all know who it is. I just want to preface this saying, this person, to my current knowledge and understanding of what happened(I’m learning new things about the situation the more I talk to people about my experiences), is not an abuser. They are just an incredibly toxic, negative, and immature person. They are also prone to explosive anger(which is kept quietly contained in dms) so I don’t recommend contacting them.

The adult mentioned in this PSA is Sariel/girl-between-worlds. Now, as I am not Bella I cannot speak for her experiences, but I will speak for mine. If you would like ss of our last fight then please, dm me and I will share them with you. If some of you were in the Shiftblr Homies group chat a while ago you’ll remember when Sariel made an nsfw joke in a conversation with mainly me and a few other minors. The joke was that you censor an innocent word to make it seem like an nsfw one. What she said was similar to; “Anakin is super hot and I want him to **** me.” This isn’t exactly it but she said this and claimed it was supposed to say “kiss”. When yeah sure, but the joke is that why would you censor kiss it must be something worse than that. Lark, the owner of the group chat, stepped in and ended the fight before she could get too defensive and try to turn it around on me or make it seem like it was both our faults. Something she tends to do often in arguments or when someone tells her that she’s crossed a boundary. Here is an actual quote from out last fight:

“Its not rude to tell someone to stop doing something that makes you uncomfortable” She said this in a fight where I was confronting HER about crossing multiple of my boundaries. One moment she acts like she’s too young to know what she was doing and how she doesn’t think about age online, and then the next she’s trying to act all motherly and give me advice from an older person’s perspective???? A few months ago I edited a photo of us, which she then called us hot. I didn’t say anything at the time because I wanted her to like me. I remember this was the first time she crossed one of my boundaries, but she was one of my first friends in the shiftblr community! I didn’t want her to dislike me, and by late December I saw what happened when people tried to set a boundary with her or tell her that she had broken one.(We met in early December.) One day Sariel messaged me going on a rant about Bella, saying how explosive she was, how rude she was, how much of a bitch she was being about the situation. I thought she had done something horrible. That was until Bella messaged me, she told me that she wanted me to get her side of the story, and that she knows Sariel wouldn’t tell me but to avoid falling into a trap I should know. I told her about Sariel’s rant, and she told me that that whole rant had come about because Bella had asked her to tag nsfw posts and to stop tagging her in them. Bella is 16. Her system’s protector was the one being overly hostile, not her, but during their argument she would only focus on that and not the matter at hand. There are other instances where she said things that made me uncomfortable, and I did not speak up because I wanted her to like me, but I do not remember those as clearly.

It has come to my attention that an adult member of the shiftblr community has been making minors feel uncomfortable through DMs. This is not an announcement to declare who it is, shame them for it, or cancel them. This is simply a report of what I have been told by a trusted source. I will also not be discussing the minors who are feeling uncomfortable, nor what was said to make them feel this way. It is their right to come out with their stories or feelings whenever they feel comfortable to do so.

This sort of conduct is unacceptable in the shiftblr community, and I actively disavow it. This community is suppose to be a safe space for both minors and adults. This behavior is inexcusable. Inappropriate conduct between an adult and the minor is never the fault of the minor. As adults, we are responsible for how we communicate with others

Again, I reiterate: it is the responsibility of the adult to have appropriate discussions with minors.

Please do not seek out the victims or the adult involved with this situation. From my understanding, the adult has tried to “brush it off.” Shaming them or harassing them will most likely not make them change their mind. Give the victims privacy and your support.

If you have experienced inappropriate conduct with an adult in your community, report it. This is true for all communities, but especially this one. Most adult members of the shiftblr community (including myself) are here to help. If you ever need someone to talk to about situations like the one mentioned above, my DMs are open.

Again, this is NOT to stir up drama in the community. This is a PSA for minors in the shiftblr community. If an adult is making your uncomfortable, it is your right to block and report them. It is not your responsibility, as a minor, to ensure that the adult talks to you about appropriate things. That is the responsibility of the adult.

Hey sorry can I ask for something?Basically today I listened to the same subliminals and napped, and while I was about to fall asleep I felt body full of eletrical static and my eyes started "moving" even if they were closed, but I still didn't shift. What should I do now?

Sorry for getting back to this so late! That’s happened to me quite a few times–typically I’d try that same combination of location/subliminals/comfort again the next day but try and affirm once your eyes are moving. If you don’t immediately shift to you DR, don’t worry! You’ve simply shifted to a reality where you’re closer to shifting to your DR, if that makes sense:)
