As you are walking

Down the street

You trip over your

Very own feet

Caught a whif

Of a sweet essence

Who is that standing

In my presence

Long wavy hair

Down her back

Beauty that's sure to

Throw you off track

Medusa eyes

See right through lies

Why can't she speak

What is it she seeks

Just like that she's

Gone in the

Blink of an eye

Why am I terrified

The day carries on

Time for bed

Why can't I sleep

All these images of

Her in my head

A quiet breeze

Tickles the trees

What is that sound

It brought me to my knees

Can't fight the urge

To go find the source

After pulling back

All the branches

There she was

Doing magical dances

Quickly she walks over

Grabs my hand

Leads me to her

Secret spot on land

Waterfalls in caves

How did I not know

About this place

She dives in the water

I watched as scales

Formed along her

A tail was put in

Place of her legs

I'm caught in her web

She begins to sing

With such a beautiful voice

I'm left with no choice

Lured me in with

This entrancing noise

A siren of the sea

I'm honored that

Hiding in the shadows
