Ron Weasley appreciation post!

I, personally, am not the biggest fan of Ron but I feel like he doesn't get enough recognition from the fandom.

At age 11? 12? he faced his biggest fear for his best friend. I don't mind spiders but that was scary and for someone with aracnaphobia as bad as Ron's that's three achievements and a half.

He's smart, god this man is smart as hell. He thought of so many things that Harry and Hermione didn't and literally nobody credits him for it??? Like- with the diadem, nobody else thought, and i doubt they would've, about using the basilisk fang to destroy the diadem.

He remains, moderately, calm in bad situations, he's selfless, caring, kind and an overall amazing person. Not to mention he's brilliant at quidditch.

Hear me out: Remus Lupin doesn't like chocolate. Yep, I said it and I'm not saying you have to agree, it's just a thought I had while writing some fanfic. He doesn't like the way it feels in his hands, how it melts and sticks to his fingers, how it sticks to his teeth when it warms too much in his mouth, he thinks that the chocolate itself is either too dark or too light. He doesn't like chocolate. So, you're probably wondering why he eats it then. Chocolate is poisonous for dogs. So, by eating the chocolate, Remus is trying to kill the wolf side of him. Remus Lupin hates chocolate.

I don't see how people can hate Dumbledore but love Snape??? In my opinion they're just as bad as each other but there are so many reasons why I prefer Dumbledore to Snape. Yes, Dumbledore raised Harry like 'a pig for slaughter' and withheld a lot of valuable information from him but he didn't bully children, he didn't ask to save a woman over her husband and child, not caring about what happened to them, he didn't bully someone to the point they changed their appearance. Yes, Dumbledore made mistakes but he admitted them and (sort of) held himself accountable. But Snape made mistakes and believed he was in the right every. single. time.

My Personal Narcissa Malfoy Headcanons

Actually despised Lucius at first; she thought he was insufferable

Genuinely loved Bellatrix but as they got older she started trying to distance herself as much as possible due to fear of her sister

Was really close with Andromeda: they would constantly have sleepovers with each other and were near inseparable

Tried to maintain a good relationship with Sirius as she genuinely cares a lot for him and the two have been nothing but nice to each other

Would never admit it, but had a crush on James Potter in sixth year

Dotes on Draco more than it should be humanly possible

Has an amazing singing voice (she once made her family cry at a Christmas dinner because of it)

Adores gardening; will spend days at a time making sure all her flowers are trimmed, watered, flourishing and has even created new plants

Fell in love with muggles and muggle culture in third year but would never admit that to her family

Every so often, usually once a month, her and Sirius would exchange letters

Taught Draco how to dance at a young age

Loves going on evening walks and, over time, Lucius came to love it to (he would never admit it though)

Used to be very close with her father until her mother died and he started spiralling into insanity

Suffers with bad anxiety and PTSD, panic are a regular occurrence

First realised she had a crush on Ginny in 3rd year

Realised her gender at 8. Her mother died trying to make a potion to help her transition

Luna then went on to create the potion at only 10 years old and named the potion in her mother's honour

At 20 she revealed the potion to the world and all money earned from it went to orphanages and charities

Her first pet was a golden labrador puppy Ginny got her after the war to help her with her anxiety and PTSD

Is deaf in one ear after being hit by an unknown spell

Kissed Ginny in the battle of Hogwarts because she didn't expect to survive and was surprised when she kissed back
