Angel flirted hardest with Husk (and Alastor) because that's how he tests the waters of new people. he figures out how and where he needs to push to keep them away. Husk grumbling about it was amusing, so he just kept going, not really taking it seriously. [now, if Husk had taken him up on one of his earlier offers, he probably would've slept with him for the lulz, but it would be just another night for Angel]

but for Husk to needle him back? for Husk to Let Angel move at his own pace after breaking through a pretty serious emotional barrier? pushing him for the breakthrough then giving him a protected space to process everything?

the moment he was gone was when husk said angel being a coked-up dick-sucking hoe was fine by him (he accepted angel for who he was, wanted to see him not the act he put on)

husk realized sooner, when they were finishing the song, under the umbrella
