thought id post some of my favorite pictures of the cats. zip isn't as photogenic as silver yet because she's still young and hasn't learned to sit still and be patient haha

#zip only has one eye and just recently got the eyelid missing one sewn shut #it's healed very well and she took the surgery like a champ as she always does #didnt even need a cone because she's smart enough to leave injuries be and it healed super quick #her full name is untitled.zip btw but we usually just call her zip

rabbits started coming out so i made them a snack since it's been a while since i have

it's mostly brussel sprouts, some broccoli, and a couple baby carrots

#carrots arent super good for them so i didnt give them too much #but they love carrots so i dont wanna take them away completely #your rabbit can have a little carrot. as a treat

this picture is from yesterday and it was the first time i ever saw a dove. im so glad i convinced dad into getting a bird feeder

#there was another one over by the church nextdoor today #or maybe it was the same one im not sure

we should really get a porch swing or a bench for a nice place to sit outside and watch the birds and befriend the squirrels but theyre all so expensive hhh

maybe that's a good idea for a birthday gift from dad

#also wanna get some bowls for squirrel and rabbit snacks and water #but i can find any with ground spikes and im worried about them getting stolen or blowing away in a storm #should ask reddit if they know of any haha #also i suppose we could always just build a bench

i really wish we were allowed to plant flowers out front but unfortunately the landlords wouldnt be okay with that. the flowers in the back are nice but i wish i were able to see them without risking being stung by wasps. dad wants to move soon anyway so hopefully there we can start a nice garden

#the wasps wouldnt be so bad if i would survive a sting from one #as long as they dont sneak inside we leave them be though #we dont need to use the back door anyways unless we're putting the trash cans to the curb #and we do that late at night so none of the wasps are even out

ive noticed while watching birds at the feeder that when there's a big group of them and the perches on the feeder are full, the ones on them will drop seed to the ground for the birds that couldnt find room. it's pretty amazing to see and just a minute ago there were a bunch feeding each other and it was really sweet to see

#bird watching #birds #filled the feeder yesterday and it didnt fill up all the way since we ran out of seed but it was at least 2/3rds full #they eat a lot of seed very quick #once the rabbits and squirrels come out i'll put out some snacks for them too

unfortunately a lot of the pictures are through a window screen so theyre not the best quality but theyre something lol
