So, let鈥檚 rewind. I was going to take the night train from Hamburg, I promise, but this trip happened so spontaneously that the train had been fully booked by the time I was looking for tickets. With the ferry being too slow I was left with flying. Airports sometimes bum me out because your doing a lot of waiting. But then again, your mind starts to wonder and you can get into the picture-taking spirit.

The film got back to me sooner than I鈥檇 hoped, but with some problems. Not only are several strips of negative creased but the lab actually cut one photograph in half. I鈥檓 slightly bewildered, since they kept these light-leaky endstrips in and uncut. Seems they might have lost a customer. Then again, I鈥檓 looking forward to posting some of the analogues alongside the Fujifilm XT-4 snaps. The Flexaret, actually, does a beautiful job of replacing the Adox. Only some minor kinks (word play intended) to work out.

If you know where this is just by looking at it you're living the good life, I guess (which, weirdly enough, does to some minute degree seem to include me, I guess). The unusual framing came curtesy of the rain that kept making the nightly walk back from Blockhusudden... let鈥檚 say more than fun.
I jumped at the possibility to go on holiday, I have to admit it. I chose Sweden, naturally, mainly because it gave me the chance to pratice the language while even checking up on some students of mine, but, as well, to get lost in some beautiful nature, as I hope to present here later (I鈥檓 still not the most consistent publisher on this platform, am I?). Anywho, the film is lost in development for the time being, so I might as well start with the digitalness of it all. Also, for the sake of just starting...
