Funny how Jason stans who regard RHATO as top tier Jason content ignore the fact that Robin!Jason acted like an asshole to Dick in RHATO #6.

Personally, I don't view this interpretation of their early relationship as canon because I don't enjoy seeing Jason lashing out at Dick due to his own pride and insecurities.

RHATO, in general, is something I mostly ignore. But for those who do enjoy RHATO and use it as their Jason Bible, I'm curious as to how this moment is waved away and forgotten about in favor of the fanon idea that Dick was the asshole who ignored Robin!Jason. When, as we can see here, Dick is actually trying to give Jason some solid advice and Jason pushes him away.

Here are a few of my favorite fics about our best boy. I don't read a lot of fanfiction but I re-read these every once and a while.

Absolutely Zero by Shade's Ninde

Summary: When the time comes to pull the plug on the Light's plans, Dick enlists a reluctant Roy to help save Kaldur's life, but it turns out there's more to save than just that. Post-Invasion AU

This is so good. Really anything written by this author is amazing. The way they write for Kaldur is better than anything Grandon has written for him. Also Lian is adorable.

Maelstrom by Right_2_Left

Summary: It began when a so-called “impurity” became Aqualass.

By the time she’s 16 and leading "The Team" the Purists are fully embroiled in a game of power with the King of Atlantis. With some help from her parents, Aqualass rises to the challenge of the games underwater and above, defining herself as unquestionably powerful.

It's. So. Good. Just read it. Basically a retelling of the first season from Rule63! Kaldur's pov. The writing is topteir, I felt like I was reading a really good book.

Summary: Will finally meets Kaldur's new boyfriend, and he's definitely 100% fine with this...definitely.

If you're a Kaldur multishipper this is the work for you. Kaldur's the rope and everyone is playing tug of war.

Summary: There are consequences to the things they do, the choices they make.

Season 2 angst with a bit of a twist. I'm not crying you are.

Tim spoke to us all about a week ago about wearing sunglasses to all murder briefings moving forward to show respect for the dead. I simply forgot. And Jason refused because he has no value for human life.
