cryo-heirâ:
A hard day of work at the Knightâs HQ and all Kaeya wanted was to head straight to the bar and grab a couple of drinks for himself. Today seemed to be a bit overwhelming then usual so he looked only a bit tired until he could clock out. He bid his goodbyes and made his way over to his place of drinks when suddenly he noticed some of the local women seemingly looking towards someone in the back.
At first, he paid no mind until his eye glanced at the stranger for only a brief moment until his eyes went wide and he looked suddenly shocked to quickly recognized an all too familiar face from his past! He thought this is is simply too much of a dream or perhaps a trick of his own mind from working today but no- the more he blinked the more his old man still continued to exist before him.
Kaeya couldnât believe it nor could he take it. He felt his heart begin to race and the flash backs of his childhood beginning to come back to him, the forced teachings, the abuse of his mental state, the fucking curse upon him-! It took everything and anything within him to not go berserk at the older man before finally, taking in a deep breath, he makes his way over to his birth father, his new expression quickly masking his real intentions.
âAhh⊠Itâs been so long- Iâm surprise you recognize me, dadâŠâ
Heâs giving the ladies a friendly wave, but otherwise--His attention is on his one and only son, the last thing that Anaya left to him. Kaeya was indeed precious to him, but more than that--He was a precious asset to the future of Khaenriâah, he did not belong solely to him. He hasnât for quite some time, and he had raised him with that understanding--Even if Dainsleif greatly disapproved of that fact.Â
What did he know, anyway?
That man was a traitor at the end of the day, a coward who couldnât lift his blade against the gods. The stories of the legendary Twilight Blade he had been told as a child--Nothing but a sham, it seemed.
âWhy wouldnât I? You're my spitting image from my younger days.â
Nargis could sense the poorly concealed rage, hence his motion to shoo the girls away. No doubt that Kaeya might have a few choice words, or a few choice actions to take.Â
âYou look well.â

@cryo-heirâ unprompted starter
Itâs a fairly rowdy evening at Angelâs Share, but thereâs an odd presence in the bar. Particularly one where quite a few young ladies are centered around, trying to urge one another to speak with the man seated at the far back of the tavern, enjoying a glass of Death Afternoon.
As he hears footsteps approaching, he looks up with a falsely saccharine smile that mirrors the Cavalry captainâs own.
âLong time no see, hm? Kaeya.â

Nargis genuinely misses Anaya and mourns for her, but also feels that going forward is the best way to honor her sacrifice? They both agreed to the matter of their son (this is strictly for my own verse and my main Kaeya ofc), but it doesnât mean that Nargis doesnât yearn for his wife to be beside him again?

I donât want to say heâs smug about it--But heâs most definitely proud of the decision he made that resulted in the death of his wife. Heâs certain that she was happy, and that he made the right choice in having her be a subject in his experiments that then resulted in Kaeyaâs powerful abilities. Itâs not something he ever intends to take back or claim that he regrets, as he feels it would be wholly and entirely disrespctful to his beloved Anaya.

For as shitty as Nargis is, heâs also incredibly devoted to Khaenriâah which I think is pretty huge even if it lead to sacrificing his own wife and child for the sake of its revenge
