Reblog and put your rare pair in the tags/comments! I want to see the depths people will go to create, for the most random two characters in the most obscure media.

I finished reading Vigilantes after following the story for years, and all I can say is, the rumors of it getting animated NEED to be true😭 I love Koichi so so much, my boy deserves to be on screen💙😤
Here’s to making more art in 2024. Happy New Year’s Eve!✨

The Red and the Black
In Vigilantes Stain’s original epithet was Stendhal, derived from Stendhal who penned the book named The Red and The Black
Interestingly,
In Vigilantes Knuckleduster{Black}’s nose-punch drives Stain’s current ideaology into him and the one that this ideology is directed at is Endeavor{Red}
BLACK: Knuckleduster-> Iwao Oguro[雄黒 巌], alias Kuroiwa Takeshi[黒岩 武司]-> hero name O’Clock[オクロック, okurokku]
The color black in Japanese is kuro[黒]
Koichi’s hero name is The Crawler[ザ・クロウラー , za kuroura] which people and call him Kurou-man[苦労マン] which means “struggling man”. Also, in Koichi’s surname Haimawari, hai[灰] means grey or ash.
No. 6 has it in his names too:- Rock, in japanese is Ro-k-ku[ロック] which is second part of how O’Clock[オクロック] is written as. Further Iwao and Iwa of KD’s name means Rock/Boulder. Flipping ro-k-ku we get Ku-k-ro . His human name is Nomura Rokuro where Ro-ku-ro read either way with only two consecutive kana at a time spells Kuro
RED: Endeavor-> Todoroki Enji [轟炎司]
Whereas Enji is written with kanji for fire and leader, his name Enji can be written with different kanji to mean dark red.
In fact, the Todoroki hair color is dark red which matches description of the shades of red from shades of “enji”(maroon->wine red based on understanding of what was used to make pigment) to crimson[紅, kurenai]
Talking of Crimson Riot[紅頼雄斗],
Knuckleduster in Vigilantes Ch 1(Aug, 2016)
Crimson Riot in Bnha Ch 144(July, 2017)
Irrespective of what their relative ages were, they are both very old gen

Hello I’ve been very silent here but this is a reminder that I love every part of vigilantes.
I love Koichi. I love pop. I love Knuckleduster. I love the narrative. I love how the characters grow. I love how things unapologetically change. I love how we can’t go back to what happened before. I love how growth is the small things. I love how community care is shown. I love how we disregard the rules and care about people. I love how the narrative really doesn’t end because they’re still living. I love how Koichi’s dream isn’t an endpoint and it’s something that has to be lived. I love how I know that these characters are going to change and grow even after the story is finished. I miss it,

letting all my writers know that can make copyright strikes against these channels, there's an option on YouTube to prevent re-uploads or uploads of near-identical content. It won't prevent all re-uploads of your content, but you won't have to manually strike every future video. Also, you can protect your content from other alt channels. So, if possible, try and get your copyright strikes instead of relying on the spam report function.
