“Oppressed straight white woman” 😆
Let's please just admit that ALL TOLKIEN'S ELVES ARE WHITE.
I understand that people in fandoms often spit on the canon, spit on the opinion of the author and they don’t care that Tolkien saw his mythology as “northern” (Germanic-Celto-Finnish, one might say), and I ignore it when it comes to the Ainur , for example, but... but Tolkien's elves are all white!!! Why can't people portray at least canon characters canonically? Why can't I just find the canonical Fingon anywhere other than russian and chinese/korean/japanese artists? But Melkor will ALWAYS be white, of course.

It’s very insane to me just exactly how quickly people are turning on Gypsy Rose. I’ve seen tweet after tweet with millions of likes talking how she’s untrustworthy and manipulative and she “convinced some poor boy” to murder her mum for her and how the fact that she’s going on a press tour to finally actual talk about her own story without show producers and the suchlike makes her a bad person. Li,e it’s actually insane. I’ve seen so many stories about people who’ve killed their abusers and rapists and everyone supports them so why is she so different? This literally can’t be how you all would seriously treat victims of abuse who were so desperate that they had to kill their abusers, right?

You make some pretty wild claims. Do you have any actual sources to back them up?
I just came back from a VERY long Tumblr break. I was here during the peak of "hiddlestoner" mania- when Tumblr revolved around Marvel, Supernatural, Sherlock, and Dr. Who. I'm honestly not shocked at the level of delusion, racism, and sheer insanity some of these fans have exhibited when it comes to Tom and Zawe. I wish I could be surprised, but when I step back and look at the rise of Trumpism and idiots who are QAnon believers, it's not surprising that fans would twist themselves into knots to claim the baby isn't his and Zawe is holding him captive (or whatever psychotic shit they can come up with). They can be packed into the same looney bin as the QAnon people who believe we're getting injected with micro-chips and JFK Jr. is still alive to come back and assist Trump in a coup. Aside from the clear signs of neglected mental health, these people attempt to claim some sort of a delusional ownership over Tom. He will never go back to "pre-2016 Tom" you know why? Cause the "fandom" scared the fuck out of him and he realized he needed to protect himself and those he loved from the same crazies who claim to know what's happening in his private life but don't know the man from a can of paint. He's fiercely protecting his family from them because he recognizes they don't respect him or respect boundaries. I watched and listened as fan encounters grew increasingly aggressive and inappropriate. I could only imagine the fear/anxiety/discomfort he must have dealt with during some of the moments described in stories about these fan encounters. The absolutely unhinged behavior exhibited by the same lot of people who are attacking Zawe are the reason he will never return to pre-2016 Tom and I, for one, believe that's a good thing. I hope they continue to protect their privacy and peace as a family and I hope the conspiracy theory haters die mad about it.
This is so on point, anon.
You can really see how protective he is over Zawe when they’re in fan spaces. I think part of that is he wants to make sure she doesn’t get overwhelmed by the crowd since she’s mentioned experiencing anxiety in that setting before, but I definitely think it’s also because he knows how aggressive and unhinged his fans can be.
I’m thinking that after his fans went insane when he dated Taylor, he knew that if he was going to ever have something real and long lasting with someone, he was going to have to change the way he was with his fandom and the media. He’s still great with them, but you can see the difference. Good for him tbh. He has to protect his family.

I started using Head and Shoulders ten years ago for itchy scalp and dandruff, and then for ten years I have not had itchy scalp and dandruff, so I thought "why do I still buy shampoo to combat itchy scalp and dandruff when I do not have itchy scalp and dandruff," so I stopped buying the shampoo for itchy scalp and dandruff and can you guess I have now? Can you predict what currently afflicts me? It's alright if you can't because apparently I fuckin couldn't either

Alright, whoever the writer (s) on the MCU What If staff is who is willing to portray Odin as the villain he is, and sympathizes with his children/victims, I would very much like to buy them a drink! I seriously doubt this will ever happen in the main timeline, but it’s nice to see that it happened somewhere.

//time and again I’ll come back to Malekith telling Thor his ‘Universe was never meant to be.’ Like. What did he mean?? And why insist over and over again that this Universe need to be destroyed? Why say something like that unless perhaps maybe you remember what it was like before? What it was supposed to be before you led your people down a dark path and erased all hope of Time Lords and Gallifrey?
Almost every word out of his mouth is just more fuel for this crossover blog and I will not stop screaming about it. Idc how long it’s been.

The 1602 episode really said the only time Loki is a problem is when outside influences MAKE him a problem and if you leave him alone and let him do what he wants he’ll just be a benign little theater nerd and the worst thing he’ll do is bore you with his hyperfixation. He’s only a problem if you make him a problem. (Leaving out the fact that Loki frequently also canonically tries to fix everyone else’s problems. But if you just leave him alone and fix the problems yourself it’ll be fine)

It was really nice to see all the Odin siblings complete in another reality (if only the reality didn't have a rift on it they would've been happier somewhat) BUT IT FEELS NICE THAT THEY COULD JUST BE CASUAL!! It would be cool to see more of the 1602 universe

What I really liked about episode 7 of What If…? is that it really showed that Hela’s quarrel was with Odin, not with Asgard. And it made me think of the problem I always had with Ragnarok, where Hela was a flatter character than she should have been. And also that the movie could have gone so differently had Loki told her from the start, “I was the one who exiled Odin, because he was a terrible father.” If Hela still wanted a fight after that, then fine, but it would have forced her to give more reasoning and expand how the audience saw her more. Ragnarok is my favorite Marvel movie, but I like that Hela’s character was addressed better in this last episode.
